Exactly what you expect to see on a 1star hotel, nothing more nothing less. Arriving to the hotel, the reception man (probably the owner too?) was very friendly and he showed me my room. At first glance it was a simple room with not much to talk about. A TV that I never used, a small bathroom which did its job, a pretty big bed for 1 guy, small sofa and the worst chair I've ever sit on! There are 2 windows meaning that you don't hear much from the noise outside if that's what you're afraid of. Also, they don't enter your room at any time. A bad thing is that the room is pretty cold so make sure you've brought some extra clothes and also, if there is someone on the hallway you'll be the first to hear it as there is not that much of soundproofing. Clean sheets (at least from the one side, the side facing the bed had some hair from the people before me but nothing crazy). What bothered me the most was (and you can see it on the pictures below) the insects that were ALREADY on the wall before my check in. Not only spiders but this other insect which name I'm missing was originally everywhere in my room, alongside with spider webs, making it hard for me to feel comfy at first. After whipping them out, I still found 2-3 spiders even 3 days after my check in. I don't blame them for the spiders as it's their "Season" but, I blame them for not taking the time (not more than 5 minutes) to clean the walls before allowing me in. It just felt wrong and unfair knowing that I'll live in that room for 1 week. They could have done better preparations. There are new towels and a soap, you can ask for more and they'll gladly give you. Again, the reception is very very kind and friendly, once of the friendliest guys I've seen in Bulgaria. Last but not least, to leave or to enter the hotel you need to knock on his door so he can lock after you, making it super cringe sometimes. Make sure to avoid eye contact:P. I started feeling guilty for bothering him if I left the hotel more than once, that's on me though as he was still friendly. I give it a 4/5. I'd put 3.5/5 for not paying attention to the spiders/webs/insects that were on my room before my check in but the reception guy made me forget about that with his friendly stance. However, if I had a 10-20% refund (because 26 euro/night was not 100% worth it, it should be more like 20/night) I'd edit the review to 5/5. I highly doubt it though and...
Read moreIncredibly low quality hotel that isn't worth the money. Staff is quite suspicious and is visibly unfriendly towards everyone, asking all types of questions and treating the guests poorly. There's constantly someone walking back and forth the whole night. The shower doesn't work properly and it's not maintained at all. If something breaks in your hand, you better be lucky trying to explain you have no fault because you will be blamed for breaking it. No AC remote control is being offered, so good luck with trying...
Read moreWould not recommend that much, you just get what you pay for : a bedroom with a bed. However, you have to leave the key at the desk when exiting the building, which feels weird. The room was quite cold, with no hot water in the shower. It was not exactly clean, with a dead bug behind a furniture. It was also quite noisy, as you can hear the nearby road, and also the people walking in the hallway. At least the price was...
