The place itself is really, really nice. It’s relatively close to the city. Only a 8 min walk from the bus station. The price is ok for a one time visit. The water was a tiny bit murky. The people at the check in and the security warden were extremely nice. The prices at the bar and restaurant a fairly high. The friendliness of the staff ok. Even though it was a day with 37°C it was not too crowded.
The real annoyance though were the lifeguards. Though there were many some of them were constantly on their phones or books instead of watching the water. I have a different expectation of these professionals.
However, shortly before we left after almost 4 hours they told my daughter and another girl they weren’t allowed to go in the water with their swimming shorts. Those were proper swimming shorts. Not regular shorts! Made from a fast drying material. Another woman tried to talk to them again and explain that those aren’t different from the ones the boys were wearing but they wouldn’t give in. Luckily we were on our way out anyway. But this really made me mad as it is a discrimination.
What a pity. It could have been...
Read moreGreat place! We went for the sauna park + salt room. It's a good idea to book your stay at the salt room for about an hour after your arrival, so you would fully enjoy your 1h relaxing time with the salt after the saunas have tired you a bit. There is a big steam sauna where you can pour a drop of an essence of your choice like peppermint or eucalyptus. I also enjoyed the infrared (regular T) sauna and the finish (extra hot) sauna - ample space even though we went on a Saturday afternoon. There is also a constant supply of ice slurry, which is great for crio massage. The cold-water bucket is also at an arms length. Showers everywhere. Good lockers. The premises are cleaned regularly. My only sorrow is that their relax area only features loungers in a cool room and no heated rock bench. NB: You can bring your own water. Bring your own towels/bath robes and please use the nylon socks provided if you decide to go to the locker room with shoes on. All in all, amazing value for price - 7.5 EUR for the sauna park for a day visit and 10 EUR for the 1h salt room. I can't wait...
Read moreThey searched my bag at the entrance and took my water. You have no choice but to buy their overpriced water. I agree with other drinks and food not being allowed but I would never go back to a place where you can’t bring water on a hot summer day.
We bought day tickets and wanted to go out for a while in the middle of the day but they didn’t let us. They said we are not allowed to leave for more than 5 minutes. Which means that if you want to go somewhere else in the hottest part of the day, you have to pay again if you come back even though you have a day ticket.
There are no signs at the entrance indicating that you can’t take in your water or leave the premises for more than 5 minutes. They only let you know once you’ve paid.
Rude staff. For example, a man shouted at my son when he incidentally dropped a mat down a water slide.
The water in the smallest swimming pool and the hydro massage pool is dirty.
Overall, a very unpleasant experience. The water sides are fun for children but their rules leave a...
