Южна перла — Hotel in Sozopol

The hotel is very nice but unfortunately is run-down. The lack of maintenance and not very good cleaning policy are lowering the quality of the place. ||Room are spacious and big , and every room has a view to the sea. We stayed in apartment with kitchen with breathtaking view, but we were a little constrained about the cleanliness of the room - We found a dirty sock under a chair and pretty sand left over from previous guests...Since we have a baby in three months, we called the front desk to send people to clean. The staff was very polite and responded immediately, but it is still not acceptable for me overall. ||When we booked informed us that there is free parking, but unfortunately it turned out that so called as parking is very difficult to get and surrounds the hotel. The place itself could hardly be called parking - no asphalt road and parking spaces, and is just lawn near the hotel where you can park - it was quite difficult for us, given that we have a baby stroller. ||We have breakfast in the mornings - Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, unfortunately a bit monotonous and lacking fresh fruit. Several times we had dinner at the hotel and were very pleased with the food in the restaurant.||Big pluses of this hotel were very good location and excellent staff.||The hotel is located next to the beach and has a wooden path that takes you almost to the waves - a great convenience for people with young children or babies, and people with disabilities. The view is amazing and the place is quiet.Beaches near by are some of the best beaches in the Black Sea.||We were very pleased with the good attitude of the staff. Everybody - receptionists, waiters, maids - were very kind and polite, and helpful.||Overall - I recommend the hotel to families with...

When booking this hotel we were pleased and amazed by the pics on their website and on booking.com. Location is great,free car park, wonderful pool and good wifi. However we were not very well welcomed by the reception staff (and not helpful at all).We booked 2 apartments,they gave us apartments on different floors which is fine but both of them were not fully equipped to let us cook/dine there.||One of them didn't have any AC so we arrived in a 40C flat. The technician guy couldn't fix it, so we did it for him.||The same apartment didn't have any shower curtain/blind so people from the pool,and balcony besides could see us taking showers..We kindly ask them to install one and they sad they would do it over the day. As you can imagine, the curtain was never fixed! SO we had to take our shower with the hope no one would see us!||TV in one of the bedroom wasn;t even plugged in and no remote so useless. Stains on the walls, AC only in the living room so bedrooms are boiling, leave all doors open inside to the fresh air can reach your bedroom.||||There was a man hole nearby the pool, not even signed with kids running around, chemical products besides and not even protected from the sun....The "up to date gym with instructors" was a joke (see pictures). Treadmill was broken as well as the bike and no weight.||||Restaurant staff and cleaning staff friendly, for the breakfast food is okay but bare in mind you may queue a long time for the toaster...||||Won't go back there and won;t recommend it, the place is falling apart and they don't meet what they sell for. Completely unsatisfied, especially for the payed price!|Firstly, we were with baby and he messed up the bed sheets the first night (understand that as the diaper leaked!!!) - they did not changed the sheets because "it is against the policy to change the sheets after one night".. Excuse me?!? We're talking poop situation here + baby to sleep on it! They did took some of our towels which they did not replace.|The staff at the reception needs more training and has to train on politeness towards the customers.|There was problem with the wall in the room - right beside the bed (can be seen on the pictures; 1/3 of the balcony was occupied by the dangerous air condition..|As you will see on the pictures, there were cables going out of the bushes at the restaurant area; a shaft was open by the pool during our whole stay and was not secured!|Otherwise, the restaurant staff was polite, the food was nice - although the displayed breakfast was insufficient. There was a line for the ONE toaster (for only two pieces of bread) & there were always people waiting for eggs/bacon as the displaying box was too small and they had to refill it often. The food which could be purchased during the rest of the day was nicely made and tasty.|When not taking into account the open shaft, the pool area was very nice, the water is kept very clean.|We had to leave earlier and they didn't charge us extra (for the made reservation of 9 nights, we stayed 2), however, they were no where near interested in the reason for leaving - which I find very...
