Family Hotel Littoral — Hotel in Sozopol

Booked this hotel through booking.com as it stated on beach, pool, breakfast, free parking, restaurant on beach & the photographs accompanying made it look ideal for our family's few days getaway to the coast which we do every June. It took us half an hour to find the hotel as it did not show on satnav for some reason and this was probably due to the fact is was down numerous dirt tracks! We had a Suzuki Swift hire car which is now probably ready for the scrap yard due to the decent down to the hotel which is a washed away dirt road suitable only for an off road vehicle! Its just rocks & holes which hit the sills with a bang each time we came down it!|On arrival we were shown the family apartment on the 3rd floor accessible only by stairs (no hand rail), there is no lift either, and one of our party was on crutches! |When we got up to the room yes it looked spacious & bright but it was listed as having 2 double bedrooms. There was one double bedroom & one double bed on an 'elevated' level off the living room separated by HALF a Venetian blind! Also... There are...|No blinds or nets to the windows only curtains, no cooking utensils, no cutlery or crockery etc. only 2 chairs on the balcony and a broken sun umbrella. |We asked for another room for 2 of us on ground floor due to the stairs & we were put into a room next to reception (apparently the only one left!) this was worse than the apartment! Again no nets or blinds to the balcony window which looked straight onto the restaurant! TV aerial socket hanging out of wall exposing all bare wiring. Shower taps hanging off the wall in bathroom (which stank of festering urine the whole time). Sheets on bed had holes in them and luckily for us we discovered on the last day, under the bottom sheet on the mattress were loads of hairs of previous occupants it was GROSS! Under the bed had never seen cleaning it was disgusting as I found out when I dropped an ear plug on the floor!! These were required as the staff in the bar & restaurant underneath us shouted & chatted all through the night right through until 5.30am with no regard for their guests! The pictures of the swimming pool must have been taken from somewhere else as only one of the pools pictured was actually here and that was behind the Laguna Hotel not this one! No breakfast was available despite the restaurant on the beach out front belonging to the hotel???!!! |Luckily for us we were 'rescued' by the owner of the Hotel Laguna a lovely man who could not do enough for us. He took us to his restaurant tables & had his staff take care of us with a lovely breakfast etc. even drinks were also taken at Hotel Laguna as our Hotel grumbled at us when we asked for a drink at 11pm and also appeared to overcharge us for the privalige!!|Chernomerets is a lovely town with a great beach and sea which we will return to but we will NOT return to this poor excuse for a hotel.|The only good thing about Littoral were the 2 receptionists who were very friendly & helpful! |We are leaving a beautiful blue cloudless sky & sun shimmering on the sea as we head off back to our house in the mountains, but...

Посетихме хотела в периода 24.07 - 29.07.2023. Резервацията премина много гладко, само с две телефонни обаждания, като ми бяха дадени допълнително подробности за стаите и условията в хотела. Хотела е буквално на плажа, точно това което търсехме като се има предвид че с две деца "снаряжението" за плажа си е солидно като брой и килограми. Нямаше проблем с намирането на хотела, Google maps ни заведе от раз. Улиците по които се минава са тесни, но трафик няма и се пътува спокойно. На рецепцията бяхме много вежливо посрещнати и регистрирани бързо. Въпреки че бяхме пристигнали по-рано, побързаха да приготвят стаята и ни настаниха за да не чакаме. Стаите са чисти и приятни, ние бяхме в студио с кухненски кът, климатик, голяма тераса и прекрасна гледка към морето. Имаше съвременен лед телевизор с канали от Булсатком, и учудващо за мен даже и с Диема Екстра! Стаята се почистваше и боклука се изхвърляше ежедневно. За 5 нощувки веднъж смениха чаршафите на третия ден, което е напълно нормално. Като цяло хотела е изключително чист. Плискането на вълните нощем е най-релаксиращото нещо което съм преживявал през последните години. За разлика от пренаселените курорти в които чалгата и денонощното викане от страна на подпийнали туристи те залива от всякъде, тук наистина можеш да се насладиш на тишина, спокойствие и шума от морето особено нощем. На няколко километра са Черноморец и Созопол където се разхождахме вечер. При настаняването ни беше дадено дистанционно за бариерата на паркинга, с което излизането и влизането с автомобилите не е проблем 24 часа в денонощието. В ресторанта на хотела имахме 10% отстъпка от цените. Момичета които ни обслужваха бяха винаги усмихнати и приветливи, като вечер ни предоставяха за малката ни дъщеря пилешка супа от обедното меню, въпреки че не бяха длъжни да го правят. Кухнята е отлична, всичко беше много вкусно, а скарата на дървени въглища направо невероятна. Ястията се сервираха с купичка с различни сосове каквито не бях опитвал преди, които придаваха допълнителна изисканост. Единственото което мога да дам като препоръка е поне закуска сутрин да се предлага за гостите. Определено щеше да е по-добре сутрин да те чакат топли мекици, банички или панирани филийки с чаша сок или мляко, на всички им е омръзнало от баналните "комплета" с нискокачествени колбаси и заместители на маслото по другите хотели. Като цяло престоя ни беше едно приятно преживяване и сериозно обмисляме да посетим хотела отново! Благодарим на персонала за вежливото...

😊: The hotel is located directly at the beach. The rooms are clean and have a terrace. The staff is very friendly. The hotel restaurant serves very good food. The hotel has its own private parking - though the street is a bit narrow. They offer drinks and coffee in the lobby to take yourself. Beach beds in the area are 8lv per bed or umbrella and day.. 😢: The light in the bathroom should be brighter and better. Some more shelves and hooks would be nice. Hot water is not available all the time. The beds are small - in width and length. The mattresses are a bit thin and the bedsheets get loose easily. While we were there we had the background noise of base music all night long until 4am or so. But it...
