Oasis del Mare — Hotel in Tsarevo

I just returned from a four night stay with a large family group and after reading the other reviews before I went (which all seem pretty bad) I felt I should write my own to give a more balanced view.||Here are the good points about the hotel|- it is clean|- it is less than 2 mins walk and you are on the beach|- the food was nice|- it has a nice pool|- there is a kids club and the staff that run the club (animation club) were full of energy, they had an evening disco or party most nights|- there was a mini bus service that you could get into the local town which was only a few minutes away (about a 20min walk, or 30 with kids) where there are a few nice bars ('Bytheway' was nice - lovely Mojitas!) and we went to another club/bar one night that had a lovely view over the bay but I couldn't tell you what it was called, we also ate at a nice Pizza restaurant in the middle of the square. And if you walk down to the other side of the square there was a giant inflatable slide that the kids loved|- the views from the room over the beach are lovely (if you get the other side of the hotel though they aren't great as there is a half built hotel that is just a construction site - but it looks like it has been abandoned I.e no active construction)||However, there a couple of things the hotel could work on||- there is no way to the pool through the hotel, so you have to go out the front door and all the way round the side of the hotel to get to the pool - this is such an odd design, especially given that the only toilets on the ground floor are in the hotel reception, so if you are by the pool and you need the loo you need to walk all the way round the outside of the hotel to get to them (you could cut through the restaurant if it is during lunch time, but if lunch is closed they refuse to let you walk through - madness!)||- the bathroom had a hair dryer with plugs to plug in those razor type plugs - but there was no plug socket in the bathroom! Go figure!||- you have to pay extra for coke, fanta, bottles of water (there is water available from fountains)||- you aren't allowed food or drink in the reception or in your room - we had young children with us, and we were part of a large family group so it was difficult getting the children to stay awake late to eat with the rest of the family, so we got a small plate of pasta one night and tried to give my daughter it in reception while we had a drink before going back to the room to get ready - but the lady behind the bar told us we couldn't do that as security would tell us to move as it is not allowed. She didn't want to eat it after this as she thought she was going to be told off by security||- the sun beds on the beach were 30lev (about £10) each - which seems excessive - I wondered if the hotel could not do some sort of deal as part of the all inclusive package with the beach vendors so if you show your all inclusive wrist band (that you have to wear for the duration of your stay) then you could have a discount/ special price ||- there is a games rooms with four computers set up for kids to play computer games - while no one is playing them, they run adverts of the games, I stood over the shoulder of my 8 year old daughter and was astounded at the game adds - I had to tell her not to watch, they were clearly 18 rated games - so beware if leaving young kids in the games room (eg. A man picked another man up and he was decapitated by a helicopter blade, then another man dug a sword into a guy's chest and lifted him up in the air with it). Perhaps the hotel should put a sign up to warn about this so parents know.||- it was a shame there was no music or entertainment in the evenings for the adults at the hotel||In summary, it was okay but|I wished I'd stayed at the oasis resort and spa next door it looked much...

On July 4th my girlfriends and I decided to visit this hotel for a long weekend getaway! When I was packing my luggage the previous day I decided to phone the reception to ask if we need to take towels for the beach - no one answered (it was 20:00 - a hotel claiming to have a 24h reception and four starts). No one returned the call so we decided to take some. When we arrived at 12:35 the girl on the reception desk started to check us in, which was great taking in consideration that the check-in was after 14:00. We asked where and when the lunch is and she kindly informed us that we do not have lunch the first day (AI rate) and if we want to have lunch today we need to skip it the last day (weird).||When we went in the room, it was clean, spacious and welcoming. I decided to take a shower so I went to the bathroom. When I entered I discovered that unless I lock the door I cant close it, so I locked it. I entered into the shower cabin and closed the door - then I realized that I forgot my soap and tried to get out but the shower cabin door was stuck in the edge of the tile which was higher than it should have been so I was stuck in the glass shower cabin with the bathroom door locked and no towel handy...I panicked thinking that I will need to pull the panic robe and the personnel will see me naked so I pushed and pushed untill I finally managed to escape. When I ran the water, I found out that the shower phone is broken and water was pouring everywhere and it got better - the shower head hang was also broken so the only way it stood on the wall was so high that I had to be half way out of the cabin.||We made it to lunch. The choice was scarce and cheap. It didn't seem like any other AI lunch ever - beans and cabbage, badly cooked rice and plain pasta. I grabbed a few bites and decided to take a cup of coffee. When i went to the bar, the extremely rude guy (Angel) informed me that coffee is served only at breakfast and that this is his orders so he cant give me coffee. I was shocked that in an AI hotel where I paid as much as in any other 4* hotel (I recommend Duni Royal Resort if you want something worth the price) I was not served coffee at lunch... (On the second day another guest told us that there is a Nescafe machine where you can get an instant coffee which was actually better than the espresso).||We went to the beach and we discovered that this hotel doesn't offer a single umbrella for its guests (Thank God we took one).||At the morning when we went for a coffee (finally) Angel was serving it with half thumb inside the cup! This was repulsing! ||I don't even want to mention that half of the personnel was acting unprofessional except Manuela - she was so polite, always greeting, smiling and answering all our questions! Thank you Manuela! I would like to thank Atanas the bar tender as well. He was very polite too!||Last but not least - for four days no one changed our towels a single time... ||||In summary: no umbrellas or beds at the beach, the food was not of a high standard and not diverse, the service was............unbelievably unprofessional and the room maintenance was at a very low level. Провалена лятна почивка в хотел Оазис дел Маре, с. Лозенец. Качеството на услугата, която получихме при престоя си в хотела не отговаря на категоризацията на хотела 4*, както и на всичко обещано в сайта. Още с влизането в хотела се натъкнахме на неработещ лоби бар, който ни беше рекламиран като част от all inclusive програмата. Впечатление ни направиха счупените плочки на пода във фоайето. Изпитахме голямо затруднение при качването на багажа посредством асансьорите на хотела, които бяха с развалени датчици на вратите и ни затиснаха докато товарим куфарите. По- късно станахме свидетели как вратата на асансьора стисна главата на друг гост, като му счупи очилата. Цялото семейство ползвахме стълбището, защото сме с две малки деца едното на 7, а другото на 3г. Като цяло хотела е опасен за възрастни посетители, камо ли за малки деца. мокета беше непочистен, още веднага по краката ти се полепва пясък; вратата на банята трудно се затваряше, казанчето на тоалетната постоянно течеше, мрежата на балконската врата не се затваряше, мивката пръскаше навсякъде; не се почистваше всеки ден. Храната в ресторанта- еднообразна, една и съща храна се вижда сготвена на закуска, обяд и вечеря преобразувана в нови ястия. Кулминацията е сервиране на мухлясали кифлички на следобедна закуска. Няколко пъти намираме косми в храната. Персоналът в кухнята е по домашни дрехи (къси панталонки и тениска и без шапки). Абсолютно никаква хигиена. Храната безвкусна, развалена (мухъл в кифличките, побелели кебапчета и лепкави колбаси). Млечните сосове и продукти се изнасят на плота без хладилна витрина. Никъде в ресторанта нямаше табела, оказваща алергените в храните. Децата отказваха да се хранят, за седемдневния ни престой се наложи многократно да се храним извън хотела. Качеството на храната не отговаря на категорията на хотела и е опасно за здравето на почиващите. Басейна на хотела- неподдържан, с множество отлепени плочки, пясък по дъното и изключително хлорирана вода. Детската секция беше изключително мръсна и пожълтяла. Боядисахме си всички бански. Опасна ситуация беше наличието на отворена кофа с остатъци от хлор. Кулминацията от нередности дойде предпоследния ден, когато след плаж се прибрахме в хотелската стая и забелязахме, че малката ни дъщеря (3г.) си играе с шише от 0.5л. минерална вода с дупка на капачката и се заливаше с някаква остро миришеща течност, според нас белина или друг почистващ препарат. Камериерката беше оправила половина стая- само леглото на децата. След многократни опити да се свържем с управителката на хотела, тя ни заяви, че има работа. На следващия ден по наше настояване управителя извика камериерката, която е била на смяна по време на инцидента с оставения препарат, за да получим обяснение за случилото се. Служителката се държеше нагло, опита се да излъже, че не го е направила тя и ни обвини, че сами сме поставили шишето в стаята си. След което призна, че почистват баните с точно такива шишета с препарат и най- нагло заяви, че няма как да докажем нищо. Попитахме я дали има деца и знае ли колко е опасно това което се е случило, тя ни отговори: „….е какво толкова е станало, нали не е умряло..“. Камериерката отказа да се легитимира с имената си, както и управителя не пожела да ни ги даде. Нито един член на персонала не носи бадж с имената си. Предвид всички нередности от страна на хотела се обръщахме многократно към управител за съдействие, което не ни беше оказано. Не се подлъгвайте, и пари да ми дават не бил отишла там. Даваш по 350 лв. на нощувка за...
