We stayed 10 days with our 1-year old son in Aug 2017 and we would definitely come back. Despite the areas for improvement I will point out below, we are pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel for both family and couples stay.||Excellent location - you have the beach and the waves under your balcony - totally allowing for full relaxation. In addition, the complex of hotels this hotel belongs to is very cute, with nice areas to walk.||The main street of the resort is nearby, so if you prefer this kind of experience, it's right next to you. At the same time the hotel is overall quiet and the music from the tourist part of the resort is not an issue.||The interior is very fresh - nice choice of colors and shapes, everything was just refurbished. ||Food in the restaurant was very diverse with a couple of topical dinners. Food was of very good quality, also there were lots of fresh fruits.||Staff in the restaurant was very kind and welcoming. Staff at the reception desk was however a bit inexperienced (some of them) sometimes and not always as friendly as I would've expected.||Cleanliness is an area for improvement. Rooms were cleaned everyday of course but it was obvious that staff were not putting a lot of effort in this. They were cleaning visible things - places where you could see dust or sand; while for example the toilet was cleaned very rarely, the balcony got cleaned just once for 10 days (and we were using it). ||The beach is claimed to be private. There isn't such a thing in Bulgaria. Beaches are owned by the state and no matter who maintains them, every citizen is free to place a towel anywhere on a beach and have a perfect beach day there right in front of your sunbed.which is a part of you package (if the beach is claimed to be private). The sunbeds, tables and umbrellas were not cleaned at all. ||Save for these small details, I think overall the resort is worth staying, the hotel is pleasant. Sand was very fine and water very clean. After years of disappointment with the Bulgarian Black Sea resorts, this hotel helped us believe again that having a nice summer vacation at the Bulgarian seaside...
Read moreWe stayed at Nympha hotel for 4 nights. We came straight from Grifid Bolero where we stayed with a larger family group. And this was against Nympha as we kept comparing the two hotels and we regret coming to Nympha. All the feedback is based on comparing one 4 star All inclusive hotel with another. ||Location: This is probably the only good thing about the hotel. The view from the room is good. We also chose it because we thought it will be quiet and private beach. That was not the case. The door that was separating the public beach and the hotel was opened and people were constantly passing by. Even the outdoor swimming pools were used by external people. ||Hotel: It is indeed renovated and looks and feels new. The rooms are a bit small. The bathroom is also quite tiny. ||Cleanliness: could be much better. The cleaner of our room didn’t bother cleaning the terrace even once for the 4 days we stayed. We used the glasses in the room and nobody bothered replacing with clean ones. We could see food leftovers and dirty glasses left in the hallways between the floors for 2 days. ||Customer service and experience: No way near the level of a 4 star hotel. The staff is friendly (definitely the Bulgarians, the Ukraine or Russian could be a bit more friendly and occasionally smiling). I think they just have not been trained properly. We had to stop and give way to the waitresses on a numerous occasions rather and it should be the other way around. I saw one lady that looked and behaved like a “manager” but she was mainly stuck behind the cooking shelf in the kitchen, writing down something and washing dishes rather than being front house. It felt as if you are in a local 2 star hotel, rather than 4 start hotel.||Food: Average food. Not too much choice. The snack is biscuits and fruit leftovers form breakfast. Doesn’t feel like All inclusive at all. ||Overall good but overpriced for what it offers and the service you receive. Would not come back and would not...
Read moreI had an amazing stay at this hotel and would absolutely love to come back. The entire place is clean, quiet, and very well-maintained. The private beach area is beautiful and tidy, with free sunbeds and umbrellas, although it’s worth noting that there is a public path going through, so it’s not fully exclusive.
From the hotel, it takes only about 2 minutes to reach the promenade and 20 minutes to Golden Beach, which is a livelier and more vibrant area, I enjoyed the contrast a lot.
The sea has a very gentle and gradual entry, which I personally really appreciated. You can walk quite far into the water with no problem, I could easily walk halfway to the buoys before it got deep enough to swim. Perfect for a calm and relaxed experience, especially for those who don’t like steep or sudden drops.
The food was outstanding! Every lunch and dinner included several types of meat, delicious side dishes, salads, local specialties and a wide variety of desserts. There were always fresh flavored waters (orange, grapefruit, cucumber, herbs, etc.), plus beer, wine, and soft drinks. Breakfasts offered everything from eggs and sausages to different kinds of milk and cereals.
The rooms are, of course, air-conditioned, which made the stay very comfortable even during warmer days. Everything was clean and functional, with daily housekeeping keeping things fresh and tidy.
The reception staff were lovely and helpful during the day and security was present at night. I was able to communicate easily in English, Russian, and German. I also really appreciated the daily free towel service for the beach.
Although the hotel does not have its own pool or slides, it didn’t bother me - the beach was more than enough.
Truly one of the best vacation stays I’ve had. Thank you for the...
