Complex Nigovanka, complex Nogovanka — Hotel in Veliko Tarnovo

We were 2 Bulgarian couples and rented 2 bedrooms next to each other, each having its own bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, also flexible with changing dates and always available via phone. We stayed for 3 nights and had to only pay 50 BGN deposit (wouldn't be returned if cancelled) shortly before our stay. The price for 3 nights for us 4 was 300BGN. There are parking spots in the complex. The complex is easy to find (there are signs to find it after you enter Emen). The housings are placed in a semi-circle overlooking the small pool, the stone barbecue and the lean-to style pavilion. There is also a back yard next to the parking spots with a smaller pavilion. There is a kitchen with 2 fridges (1 bigger and 1 smaller), equipped with everything you need to cook with, plus (we were quite surprised!) an airfryer and a lettuce dryer! The kitchen is fully equipped, you just need to bring food. There are 3 more fridges (2 in the pavilion and 1 next to another bulding in the complex). Unfortunately, in Emen there is no store that is well-stocked, but you will most probably be arriving with a car, so in the nearby villages there are stores to get food from (also for the barbecue) - just ask the complex owners for directions. Our room was simple - a bed for 2 with a TV (we didn't switch it on) and a bathroom. The weather was rainy the whole time and we could not see any of the nearby waterfalls we planned to, so we will definitely return when the weather is nicer. We got a glimpse of the Emen canyon and it was quite beautiful! You can find it in walking distance from the complex. There are 2 coffee machines, one of them with capsules (the better-tasting coffee ;) ) Each capsules-coffee costs 1,30 BGN. The place is great for people with children, there is plenty of space to play around, also swings, 2 trmpolines, a soccer game machine, a volleyball net, a basketball basket, a few toys for smaller children as well (e.g. a wooden rocking horsey). I am giving 4 out of 5 stars for 2 reasons - there were ants in the bedrooms (not that bad actually, you just need to not keep any food in there) and there was a group of ladies that arrived on our 2nd evening there, who had a party with loud music. It would have been nice to be either "warned" by the owners about the group, or to negotiate a party end time with them, or to just not let other guests there at the same time. The ladies were blasting a party up until 1:15am in the lean-to pavilion outside and because all the houses circle it, we couldn't ignore it. Thankfully, the ladies understood the matter after being told to turn the volume down, so the rest of the guests could sleep. I think the whole complex can house about 26 guests and you can rent the whole of it (if I am not mistaken) for 500 BGN a day, so it wouldbe great for a bigger group, that wants to make sure they are only among themselves. The evening the fun ladies group arrived, the owners were so nice to offer us to use the backyard pavilion and provided us with a mobile barbecue and a barbecue utensil set! Great flexibility on their side! We paid for our stay (incl coffee and non-alcoholic beverages - yes, they provide some as well) at the end of our stay. No meals were offered, which was fine given the cooking options. :) We are looking forward to...

Отседнахме във вилата за тиймбилдинг. Бяхме 19 души и използвахме вилата за две нощувки. Посрещането ни беше топло и останахме доволни от отзивчивостта на собствениците. Липсата на хигиена беше един от главните проблеми в стаите, баните и кухните. В една от стаите имаше тоалетна хартия по стената, в друга стая имаше обелки от шамфъстък в нощното шкафче. Подът беше мръсен, имаше прах и миришеше на застояло. Тъй като беше много топло повреме на престоя ни, имахме голяма нужда от климатици, които не са налични във всяка стая. Не всяка стая имаше стойка за душа. Разположението на вилата е добро, но базата не се поддържа, което...

Отседнахме за една вечер в двойна стая, където чаршафите и кърпите бяха чисти, леглото удобно, а в банята имаше шампоан и сапун. Общата кухня наистина е много добре оборудвана, има уреди, прибори, и посуда, изобщо няма нужда от ресторант, стига човек да е подготвен. Посрещнаха ни любезно и радушно, много добре се грижат за мястото и си личи, че е направено с любов. За децата има всякакви играчки и забавления, а за възрастните удобни места за отдих. Разходката из каньона и водопада беше наистина разведряваща, дори и леко изморителна на места. Със сигурност ще се върнем пак някой...
