I had a rough trip, so I was really looking forward to checking in and finally resting. Unfortunately, this stay ended up being one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had.

There's no real reception - you walk into someone's backyard where their laundry is flying around, and you just hope someone comes out to greet you. When we were finally approached, we were told there would be no breakfast (even though it was advertised) and no terrace (which was also promised). The excuse? The woman responsible for breakfast had "decided to go on vacation."

That was just the start. As we walked in, the building smelled heavily of paint not fresh and clean, but headache-inducing and overwhelming. What I initially thought was going to be a hallway between rooms turned out to be our entire floor: one tiny dorm-like room and a shared floor bathroom.

The room itself was shockingly small - about 5x5 meters. Two separate beds (despite our request for a couple's bed), a desk with a broken chair covered in cigarette burns, and an overall feel that screamed neglect. The only upside was the view, which was admittedly quite nice. But everything else made me feel deeply uncomfortable - even unsafe. As someone with sensory issues, the combination of dirt, strong odors, and lack of privacy left me on the edge of a panic attack.

They tried to compensate for the missing breakfast by leaving a few croissants and five cans of Coke, but nothing could make up for the feeling of being trapped in a place that felt emotionally and physically unwelcoming.

We left within 30 minutes of arriving and found another hotel. We only got back 50% of our money. Honestly, this is not a hotel - it's a glorified (and poorly maintained) Airbnb, charging the same price as other actual hotels with proper service and standards.

Do not waste your money here. Especially if you care about cleanliness, comfort, or basic...

We could not stay for the booked 2 nights, but only for 1 night, however the owners did not want to return the funds for our second night there, as we payed all in advance. When we offered to our friends our second night there, it turned out the hosts already let some other people in our room. They promised to return our money, but after 3 calls and viber messages I still have no refund for over a month. The room itself was in terrible condition, the bathroom was...

One of my preferred budget-friendly destinations in Vratsa. The hosts are nice and friendly, and there is privacy for the guests. Location close to the center, right next to Kauflandarket. Free parking spots are...
