Leva Hotel — Hotel in Vratsa

Alapvetően szuper kis szálloda. Kint van a város szélén, viszont pár száz méterre van a hegység bejáratától, és gyönyörű a rálátás a szurdokra (az erkélyről is). Az épület belseje az (itthoni) 4 csillagos szállók színvonalát hozza, ami az ár/érték arányt tekintve több mint kiemelkedő. Nagyon igényes dizájn, van lift, minőségi anyagok mindenütt, patyolat tisztaság, a fürdőszoba fantasztikusan szép volt, a szoba nagyon tágas, igényes, az ágyak nagyon kényelmesek, ja és olyan extrák mint pl. a külön szabályozható fürdőszobai padlófűtés! Komolyan. Zuhanyfüggönyt vagy paravánt vagy bármit (ahogy Bulgáriában sehol) itt se várjon senki, de annyira szép volt amúgy a fürdőszoba, hogy az mindent feledtetett. Megkockáztatom, hogy a 4 csillagos hotelek többsége Magyarországon nincs ilyen igényes és szép. (Az ár pedig azoknak jócskán a töredéke.) A recepción beszéltek angolul. Kártyával lehet fizetni. Mindent egybevéve, nagyon megéri, szuper szálloda. Mi egy napos tranzit szállásként vettük igénybe, de simán el lehet benne lakni napokat, pl. aki a közeli hegyekbe látogat. . (Sajnos nekünk nem volt időnk kirándulni.) Az étterem az egész szálló gyenge pontja, ahogy Bulgáriában több helyen is megtapasztaltuk - de lehet csak nekünk nem volt szerencsénk. A külcsíny tökéletes, igényes, de hogy egy ilyen helyen egy pincér se beszéljen kicsit se angolul... A vacsora amit választottunk, nagyon finom volt, a választott pohár bor is, csak tényleg elég frusztráló egy teljes átvezetett nap után, hulla fáradtan azzal szórakozni, hogy kézzel-lábbal próbálom elmagyarázni, hogy nem egy üveg bor kérek, csak egy pohárral, de nem érti. A reggeli ellenben csalódás volt, egy ilyen színvonalú helytől többet várna az ember. Két szelet vacak kenyér, egy minivaj, felvágott, sonka, lekvár, egy főtt tojás, ízetlen zöldségek, szóval ez a szokásos tucat reggeli. Unott felszolgáló, aki meg nem kérdezné se az elején, se a reggeli végén, hogy kérünk-e kávét. Pedig szerintem azt még bolgárul is megértettük volna. Sőt, még fizettünk is volna érte.

Basically a super hotel. It is outside the outskirts of town, but a few hundred meters from the entrance to the mountains, and has a beautiful view to the gorge (also from the balcony). The interior of the building brings the quality of 4 star hotels, which is more than value for money. Very sophisticated design, quality materials, bathroom was beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, and extras like separately controlled bathroom floor heating! Seriously. They spoke English at the reception. You can pay by card. All in all, it is well worth it, super hotel. We used it as a one-day transit accommodation, but you can stay in it for a few days, eg. who visits the nearby mountains. (Unfortunately, we didn't have time to go out.) The restaurant is a weakness of the whole hotel, as we have experienced in many places in Bulgaria - but maybe we were not lucky. The exterior is perfect, sophisticated, but for a place like this, no waiter can speak a little English ... What was frustrating, after a hard day, that it was a bit difficult to explain that I wouldn't ask for a bottle of wine, just a glass, but they didn't understand. The dinner we chose was very tasty, the glass of wine I chose too. Breakfast, on the other hand, was a disappointment, and you would expect more from a place like this. Two slices of crusty bread, one mini butter, cold cuts, ham, jam, a boiled egg, tasteless vegetables, so this is the usual dozen breakfasts. A bored waitress who wouldn't ask at the beginning or at the end of the morning if we wanted coffee. I think we would have understood it even in Bulgarian. In fact, we would have even...

I'm writing about the restaurant which is just great. I can't say anything about the hotel.

Fresh, delicious food with a big of a gourmet twist on Bulgarian traditional cuisine, but also international offerings such as pizza and pasta is what you get treated to. Definitely try the Chefs special menu and the carp specifically. I also tried the excellent lamb with a crisp herbal skin. The Leva salad is also fresh and nicely done.

And piecewise I can only say it's fair. What I heard was that the whole food supply chain is managed by the same person meaning the food is always fresh.

The head cook is experienced and offers interesting takes on well known food. The service staff is professional working without missing a beat even when the place is full.

Definitely the best restaurant at the moment in Vratsa. 5...

I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I am not gonna keep silent this time. Sometimes I go to their restaurant and usually more or less like it. But not today - we were there with a group of people and the waiter was incredibly rude. I asked politely if it would be possible to separate my check from others (to pay with a card), and the waiter started yelling at me telling it's not possible. First of all, it SHOULD be possible like at any normal restaurant in the world; and second of all - no need to yell at your customers when they just ask a question. It's just insane. And it is not like the waiters were busy - the restaurant was almost empty. I hated this attitude. Teach your staff how to behave...
