The Chinese lady at the front desk was very honest and nice. You have to provide a $100 cash deposit up front for which they return upon check out. We used Expedia (highly recommend, I don't get paid by them) to book the room. I tried calling them to ask for transport but their English or Mandarin was not communicable. So instead I used Expedia messages to communicate with the staff days in advance to arrange transport from the airport and our next destination. That worked better with the language barrier.
The room was well furnished with tactfully chosen cover pillows. The shower design was also thoughtfully designed -- grooved marble stones on top of another base layer of marble for the water to drain out. There's also a drying line in the shower for clothes to dry out overnight (it was nice and dry when we were here). Each room comes with toothbrushes, 2 bottles of water, hair dryer, and other amenities. I checked for potential cameras in the room and couldn't find openings for cameras to be placed. The place feels very wholesome. It looked like they got the wrong sized toilet covers though so it doesn't match the toilet base ;)
One downside was that someone was smoking in our room prior to our stay and you could smell the smoke coming out of the furniture. Someone tried to get the smell out by opening the windows which allowed the mosquitos in. You can see a lot of mosquito splatter marks on the wallpaper from past slaps.
No fridge in the room. I recommend getting 2 big bottles of water to bring to the room since it's not recommended to brush teeth or drink from the tap. I was told local bottled water is ok, though if you want to be on the safe side, you can get the coca cola brand, Dasani water (green label). You won't need to pitch in and get Evian water. We haven't gotten diarrhea yet from the local bottled waters.

I had a room on the front of the building facing the road, it was like sleeping next to a busy highway, all you could hear was constant traffic, honking etc... we asked to switch to a room not facing the road, but they said they were fully booked so couldn't switch.
Maybe another room would have been much nicer, but I'm leaving a rating it for the room I got, a loud,...
