The whole village is like a building site, you cannot blame the guesthouse owners for that.||The check-in was quite funny. No one was at the reception so we called the phone numbers. In the end they told us our room numbers and let us take the keys ourselves.||The rooms are nice, clean. Bathroom has hot water. Provides toiletries and towels.||The air was stuffy though, couldn't fully ventilate it. But at that place you spend only the night, because the beach is like 10-12 minutes walk away, so what more can you want for 15 dollars a night at a place like that? ||The owners can come up to your room and knock at midnight to make sure that you are still there and won't leave...
Read moreWe are travelling though SE Asia at the moment. We booked our stay at Lucky One guesthouse 3 months in advance because it is the end of year period. Acommodation is scarce at that moment.||||Yesterday, I received this email from the management:||||"sorry , your booking room is not available,please cancel,thanks"||||As you can imagine, we are not happy with this news. Read moreTravelled for 3 months throughout Asia and this has to be the worst place we stayed in.||1) Room wasn't too clean, horrible smell coming up through the drains.||2) infested with cockroaches. Not just one or two as you might expect in Asia but every five minutes abother one would crawl through the room. Made for a horrible nights sleep.||3) I left my watch by accident as we had to switch rooms because of the roaches, and I left it in the previous room. Asked them to mail on to our next hotel, was told this was not possible. I can only assume they have sold it.||Please do not waste your money on...
