This hotel was quite literally, the worst hospitality experience I have ever had. Stay tuned. ||||The outside of the hotel is just a lie. Don't judge a book by its cover. The hotel is actually falling apart and they do not even close the front doors. The lobby is swarmed with bugs and mosquitos and I got 3 mosquito bites on my ankles from just sitting in the lobby for 5 minutes. ||||To say the rooms are subpar would be the overstatement of the year. The shower in my room did not work and flooded the entire bathroom because there is no curtain or barrier. The slippers they provided were clearly used by previous people and the thought of that made me want to gag. The blankets and bed were very uncomfortable and scratchy and the broken AC in such hot and humid weather was really the cherry on top. ||||The breakfast was barely operational and they only provided us with porridge and hard-boiled eggs. Additionally, the hotel staff were very rude and not accommodating at all. Their hospitality needs some serious work.||||But wait... there's more. On the final night we stayed there, multiple people in our group had their rooms broken into. People saw strangers in their room at night and someone's backpack was rifled through and nearly $1000 was stolen. This shocked us all because the assurance of safety and privacy should be a guarantee from the hotel. Even worse, when we notified the hotel staff that this had happened, they were very rude about it and refused to take responsibility or show pertinent security camera footage. This is unbelievable. ||||Long story short, if you value your basic necessities, money, and time, stay far...
Read moreCome here if you want to pretend you’re in a horror film.||• Hotel is INCOMPLETE. That’s right. It was blatantly still being constructed when we arrived. Some rooms had tools hanging out in the rooms, unfinished walls. ||• Multiple bathrooms and rooms were flooded. Yep. They have a drainage problem they haven’t worked out. ||• Loud banging from construction at all hours. ||• Basics were hilariously bad. No toilet paper in my room, soap dispenser empty, my desk had broken legs and was so unstable I couldn’t put my laptop on it, no food bar, breakfast looked like a tiny home operation, staff was speaking to me through Google Translate and there were very few Khmer-speaking staff (we are in Cambodia).||• And the cherry on top? On our final night, someone broke into multiple rooms. (!!!) A few people in our group woke up in the middle of the night to a stranger in their room. They stole over $1000 from us, not to mention traumatized a couple people. One of our members chased the guy out, so luckily he didn’t steal from us all. ||• Wait, there’s more: The hotel staff conveniently claimed to have no footage from their plentiful security cameras. They also refused to apologize or take remote responsibility for the events. Total lack of graciousness. ||What a...
Read moreWe stayed for two nights and the experience was horrible. The lights did not work with our initial room card, so we had to change to a different room. Our door would not open fully without the bottom edge making a loud scratching noise against the floor, so we could only open a slight bit. The shower situation was also unpleasant. The water temperature was so difficult, you could only get either ice cold water or boiling hot. The lobby is in very poor condition, the lights would shut off every once in a while. Breakfast was very limited, and service was not good. They all only spoke Chinese, made little effort to try and communicate, and all had a horrible attitude. To get breakfast we needed a coupon, and the manager was just yelling at us in Chinese and blocked us out from the dining area when we didn't know we had to get it. The exterior and swimming area looks nice, but inside is horrible. Overall, the place is old and broken, and service is absolutely dreadful. Please do...
