A wonderful place to stay if you want a midcity location to make lots of the city accessible. Truly helpful staff and great in-house cooking for reasonable prices. The rooms are simple, comfortable and value for money and any problems are swiftly handled. The family owners can communicate in English and the owner is a renowned city guide so recommendations will be easily gotten. The vibe is relaxed welcoming and open hearted. It wouldn't be a place for night owls as the property and much of the nearby businesses close around 9pm and it's quite a jaunt then to the more bustling central bar and restaurant districts. In rainy season, much of this area will flood badly so be warned Jimmy Choo wearers and aquaphobes. Very humble owner both husband and wife. But I regret that i can't say a proper goodbye, i was planning to stay there the whole year but went out for weeks to attend seminars but unfortunately my brother's accidents forced me to go back to the States. Will come back and stay over there again. No need to pay $1200 per month which we often make reservations before our arrival through agencies at a 5 star hotel. It has the same service though the room might be smaller if we can sleep peacefully, that's enough right? What's the use of having a big room, we won't do a morning walk in the room huh. Really nice place, clean rooms, the staff are Friendly and helpfull. I would DEFINITELY recommend it. The energy is good...... It's been just over a year since my last review....I would like to write about my experience the second time I stayed at Naraya. On my first visit I had to leave in a hurry and completely forgot that I had paid some extra money for my stay. When I arrived at Naraya the second time.... a whole year later..... the owner told me that I still had money left from my previous stay....
