This is a beautiful resort. The wide area of powdery white sand with palm trees between the rooms and the beach front is kept amazingly clean. If you are in a beach front villa, as we were, the view from your room is truly exceptional. The beach itself is nice, especially at low tide. It seems very popular with familes with young children. The pool area is great. The food in the restaurant was quite good. Several aspects of the service were good - our room was set up in a really lovely way in accordance with my requests, several of the restaurant/bar staff were nice and friendly, Lily at the front desk gave us a great welcome and tried her best to remedy problems. However, there were a few incidents where the service/management let us down. We were given the opportunity to pre-order our dishes the night before a beach BBQ and told a time to arrive at the BBQ when our dishes would be "cooked and ready". That whole BBQ experience seemed like a comedy of errors - extremely disorganized with dishes being sent to wrong tables, pre-ordered dished being unavailable, needing to wait for almost an hour to get any food, the billing system being down so we couldn't even sign (and at check out receiving a bill which was much too high for the BBQ and had obviously been combined with a large family table who had ordered a lot - we were just a couple). The manager at the BBQ would not provide me with an explanation as to what the problem was and our food only arrived almost an hour late after asking him several times. The resort did not reply to my email asking for an explanation. Be careful booking the ferry through the hotel. We booked the ferry to leave the island through them, only to be informed when we arrived at he ferry desk that they didn't accept the ticket/paper which the resort had given us. Lily managed to sort it out in the end, but it suggests a problem with whatever system they have in place. While on vacation, you want to avoid stress, but the BBQ and ferry situations actually ended up causing it.|It's a beautiful resort, in a beautiful setting, with some good staff. If everything went smoothly, it would have been outstanding. However, from our experience, their management systems require...

We stayed here for three nights in February. The room was absolutely beautiful facing a stunning white beach with palm trees. The whole place looked like something out of a brochure with its soft white sand, blue sea and palm trees. Nor was it very busy. We had a small bungalow, which was extremely comfortable and of ample size. There was plenty of complimentary water and a mini bar and seating areas both in and just outside the room where you could while away the days. There were also plenty of sun beds and towels to use. A prefect retreat.||Food in the restaurant was decent except on valentines night they did a special meal at $45 a head, with no other option. That meant going without food or having to walk to another hotel along the beach, which was not ideal but not the end of the world. ||The only problem was that while we were there they were using a bulldozer to move sand around the beach. This needed to be done due to erosion created by the rain and the sand needed distributing in order to preserve the beach. That I totally understand but unfortunately for us, the two full days we had to sit on the beach and relax were accompanied by noise from the bulldozer making it sound like we were sitting on a building site!||We did complain about the noise and the manager was extremely apologetic and as recompense we were given the Valentine’s Day meal for free. I appreciate this work needs to be done but I think our real beef was that there was no warning about it. Ordinarily when works are going on you get advance notice and we could have gone to a neighbouring hotel instead.||That said the staff were very attentive and kind and extremely friendly and of good humour. The service was impeccable and everyone was committed to ensuring we had a good time. The noise was just an unfortunate coincidence and only happens once a year so we were just...

You & Me Resort – Koh Rong, Cambodia I recently stayed at You & Me Resort in Koh Rong, and while the location is absolutely stunning, I was overall quite disappointed with the experience. The location is the resort’s strongest point — the beach is beautiful, the view is amazing, and it’s the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, the facilities and service didn’t match the setting. We booked two rooms (7 and 8). Room 8 was fine, but Room 7 had several issues: • Air Conditioning: When we arrived, the AC wasn’t working. Staff filled it with gas, but it stopped working again. This happened twice, and the room only became “okay cool” after sunset — never properly cold. • Bathroom Sink: The sink was clogged and unusable, so we had to use the bathroom in the other room. • Condition of Facilities: The shower was rusted, the curtains (the blackout lining was damaged) • Wildlife: Lizards were everywhere, inside and outside. The food at the resort restaurant was very average, both for lunch/dinner and the breakfast buffet — definitely not on par with the location’s potential. This place could be truly amazing if it invested in maintenance, cleanliness, and better food quality. The beach and view are exceptional, but the overall stay fell short, especially compared to other island destinations like the Maldives.

So far its been great place. Two nice pools ( not heated) great beach front. Not crowded. Food is food. Beds were okay except the roller bed was 4 inches thick and felt like puliece of wood. Very uncomfortable and they charged extra for it. The toilet had issue it kept pluging up each night. I didnt complain just asked to plunge it. On check out ar the feont desk the manager thought it would be okay to show us photos of the toliet being plunged. With everything showing in bowl, this was at the front desk! Not sure why you would even take photos to show guest if their clogged toilet. Rude and wierd. Why?? They weren’t asking for anything other than why it clogged. I was like am not a plumber. Why try and shame a customer when they didnt make big deal of it?? That was extremely wierd. I am downgrading my view of the hotel. .. location good staff not bad. But wierd stuff. Food okay. Breakfast could be better but it was okay. Just be aware of the wierd practice of shamming people. Maybe they do this for other stuff? Dunno. There are many options at this price level. Just thought i would share my weird experience.. this was 3rd time, hadn’t happened before so maybe its one time thing or warning of things to come.

Lovely resort but you’ll need to ride a car to get to it and the road is pretty bumpy. The villas all have hoses to wash the sand off your feet and bodies before entering your rooms. Clothing racks are also provided outside to dry the clothes in the sun. Inside the villa was very plain but all the basics were provided. Four of everything- towels, face towels, sun hats. A four seater wooden living room set also was inside the villa. Mini bar and free water too. Staff were so friendly to my kid. They gave him coloring sheets while we waited for our transport. There was a playground but it rained for the two days we were there so it was wet. Food and cocktails were just alright. Breakfast buffet had a lot of tropical fruit and feta cheese. Passion fruit jam is a must try. There was wifi everywhere including the beach. The kayaks and paddleboards were free to use. Lots of free volleyballs lying around too. The owner of two resorts down to the right is the same as You&Me so guests can also use the facilities of the other resort too.
