We found Les Bambous on Expedia and the reviews were positive, so we decided to give it a try. What stands out about the hotel is the staff - they really do try to meet every need. The service was incredibly warm and helpful, from collection at the airport through check-out after our stay.||Our room was light and spacious, well decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable; the blackout curtains were effective, so on the days we didn't wake up early for the temples, we were able to sleep in.||We had massages at the hotel, which were well delivered by the masseuses. One area for the hotel to improve would be to have a dedicated area for the massages, as they were done in a bedroom on the bed, rather than on a masseuse bed.||Our breakfast was included and was a la carte rather than buffet style. The coffee was excellent, fresh fruit and a range of western and local options were available. My only recommendation would be the bread served at breakfast - it was very dry. We didn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel, as we preferred to explore the options in Siem Reap.||A tuktuk from the hotel to town was three dollars, which is good value. The pool is nice and deep, and there are sun loungers to relax on. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent.||We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and the service of the...
Read moreWe stayed at this quaint boutique style hotel in Siem Reap for two nights, and it was a true gem. ||What sets this hotel apart from many is that staff. They go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and organized all our travels to and from the hotel at ANY time of day and night. They even arranged our TUK TUK to Ankor Wat for sunrise and the entire day, we did absolutely nothing other than be ready on time. Everything was so perfectly planned!||Breakfast is a la carte and it was fantastic, we really enjoyed it! Unfortunately the pool that looked so tempting everyday especially as it was so humid, we unfortunately never got to enjoy as we did not have enough time. ||The rooms were very spacious, and had absolutely all the toiletries that you could possibly need. The beds were firm and comfortable, which enabled us to be well rested for our ventures at Ankor. The blackout curtains definitely did the trick the next day, as we needed the sleep in. We actually wish we enjoyed the hotel itself a bit more. Hence, we will just have to organize another trip over. ||We really enjoyed our stay here at Les Bambous, and I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Siem Reap. ||Thank you for our wonderful stay and experience...
Read moreFrom the moment I made reservation until we departed the staff was most helpful and did their best to make our stay pleasant. We also booked a temple tour via the hotel and it was very satisfying. ||||However as I visited during a hot spell and the air con did not manage to make the room cool. Also the placing of the aircon was just beside the bed which made you wake up with a soar throat:-).||The little garden is pretty and the small pool is also fairly nice although there is not that many sun beds,||The restaurant serves a good breakfast but a la carte is quite over priced.||||The area outside the hotel will in a couple of year probably be up and coming but at the moment there is not much to see or to do, So for entertainment take a tuk-tuk to down town. ||Or enjoy fine dining at Damnak lounge restaurant in a neighbor hotel which was a...
