Lovely and comfortable place outside of the centre. Very friendly staff and owners. The owners speak French and English and they just took over the place. They will help you with any information and arrangements. A good thing is that the owners want to work with people who they know and deliver service. They do their research. Everybody they recommended and/or who worked with them was friendly and helpful. There's a swimmingpool which is perfect after you've done a whole day in Angkor. Also cocktails and food were good. I recommend to visit the Pubstreet and Apopo Center. We didn't do the fishing village, but that's also possible to arrange from the hotel. We had to change rooms, because we extended our stay and we can honestly say that all rooms were good. All in all we had very pleasant stay in this hotel and because of the staff. Merci Bien! Merci Bien!
P.s.: Afterwards we went to Mondulkiri Project, which was awesome and a real must-do in Cambodia. I would not recommend the bus ride though. Eventually it took us 14 hours and it's a long sit down. I would recommend to split your journey in half as these busses also work as a delivery system. On the other hand it is also a whole other experience in Cambodia if you want to experience this (it's unbelievable how much they can put into these busses), but not very comfortable....

Download the pass app and get a ride in for as low as $1...but I've enjoyed walking meeting the locals and getting a real feel/ local cultural experience people are so friendly and interactive!!||They even organised my tuk tuk driver to pick me up from the airport to the hotel and was waiting there for me with my name... I didn't have to trouble myself with haggling for a deal at the airport as known as for Hoklin his great knows the area well ... I even did the sunrise tour with him... He had true knowledge of the temples and took me to each site, waited for me and supplied cold water every time we stopped at a site.||The pool is cleaned regularly.||Place is fumigated for mosquito's|Great breakfast and dinner when not bothered to leave the hotel.|Wifi is fantastic |Printing ablative|Dat house...
Read moreThe Dungeon- white with rendered unpainted cement walls.Cambodians are known for their hospitality and smiles, the staff was otherwise untrained. There was a huge crack in the door, toilet paper was used to stuff the crack. The room had bare walls, half was unpainted and finished in unpainted dark rendered cement, all the lights were spot and wholely insufficient lumens, these may be intentional designs but I need to be able to see. There is no kill switch at the bed so triping over after the lights were turned off was a nightly hazard. Bed was stiff and covers looked and felt old- perhaps this is an eco-friendly place, not wanting to use bleach. Exactly 1 pillow and 1 towel was provide, I had to ask for a second pillow two times, no bath mat etc ... Room was not cleaned daily, maybe I'm missing the inhouse signal system. Old flooring. No outlets no hairdryer in the bathroom which was bare concrete. The ac was barely sufficient to keep the room tolerable. Location was very slight closer to Anchor Wat than the market area in exchange for little food places etc ..., the positive being being local prices and local cuisine (may be good or bad)The pool was lovely though.I wasn't sure if I needed to come through the side gate meant for cleaners...
