I lived near this market for close to a year. I enjoyed starting my mornings off with an easy stroll to this market to get some donuts and some hot Cambodia breakfast. I routinely bought my household goods, groceries, clothing, and killed time at this market place. I made new friends and saved a lot of money by shopping here in the long run. There’s a really cool car park on the top of the market, with stalls that provide seamstress and tailoring services, salon and barber shops as well as cold drinks, and sometimes food. I also found the entire area around the market and the vendors to be a friendly and hospitable place. There was always something new to discover, and I really miss living next to this market. To meet new people who traveled from deep in the countryside to come closer to the city to sell their goods and food was a very unique cultural experience and it definitely helped me with my language skills while living here.
