Forest Conceptions that make me and my family enjoy a lot, love it.
The foods are all delicious. Staff are all responsible for their role and really helpful even the cleaner also cares about customers. One more thing that's also good is they let the street dogs walk in and out freely also cats maybe some people don't like it but i feel kinda good to show that kindness and the place full of trees and decorated with forest things on the top of my head (I don't know how to call it in English but you can have a look by yourself in the photos). The bathroom was good and clean and it's probably busy if there are too many customers because it's small and can fit only 3 people at a time at the front, I'm not sure about the back bathroom.
⚠️ Be aware of the insects, it bites my wife and makes her itchy but that's because it's like a forest so what you need to do is wearing long top. Also the foods are expensive because they need to be spent on decorated, staffs, etc to make it a good atmosphere for customers. Well, it's not street food, it's one of the hell of a restaurant.
🎵 One more thing is about musicians and singers, it's 1960s Cambodia style, but they're also helps with birthday songs too if you ask them to sing and play that to surprise your friends or family members. it's too loud 📢 people probably can't hear each others when talking if they're get close to the stage and I don't really enjoy it but That's because what they do...
Read moreThey don’t have a menu book, they bring you a tablet and show you photo album without price. The girl didn’t understand any English words, so we pointed out the photo with a finger. You expect to have exactly the same thing as photo, but she brought something very very different. An English speaking guy came to talk with us. I asked to bring the tablet again, but he says he understood English and don’t need photo. The foods are disgusting, not good quality. It’s cheaper and so much better to eat in hotel. The only good thing was passion fruit soda. The refused my 20 usd bill ( just a little cut on the edge) and told me she will charge me more if i want to pay with the bill. Frankly, this is a rip-off restaurant for foreigners. NOT recommend, please don’t go if you don’t want to get mosquito bites. It will be horrible to go with short. If you insist to go, please just order drinks. You should go to eat...

The Black Forest Restaurant delivered one of my most memorable dining experiences in Siem Reap! I ordered the Khmer-style special duck and incredibly tender with rich, aromatic spices – and the "salty fish fried rice" which had the most delicious umami kick. Every bite was a delight! The "Baby Morning Glory" shamely not the best, but still taste good.
The real highlight? The live band and singer – without a doubt, the best I’ve encountered in Siem Reap! Their performance had everyone captivated, adding such a vibrant energy to the night. I also loved seeing so many local groups dining here – it’s always a good sign when a restaurant is popular with residents!
This place is an absolute must-visit. I’ll...
