Because we are seafarers we were able to swim here free of charge - I don't know if this is the case for everyone.||As with the rest of Douala, everything is quite expensive, but much less than other places around (so I'm told, we didn't eat anywhere else after hearing the prices).||The pool is a good size, and fairly clean considering it's rainy season.||There isn't much shelter around the pool, so if you want to sit by the pool you will get sunburnt or wet depending on the weather.||There is sheltered seating, but you can't really supervise the pool from those areas.||||The food is basic, Africans cooking Western style food. It was all well cooked and timely so no complaints. The waiter spoke good English, though I wouldn't assume that all the staff can.||||The toilets were clean, with toilet paper and soap. And there was enough room to change in as well.||||Apparently there is internet access, but only if you are staying in the...

After reporting a broken TV and a lack of remote control the very next day after we checke-in, we spent our entire 14 days without either of those 2 very common items. Someone even told us that the remote was stolen by the...
Read moreAwesome location, very clean and the Eastern European lady who runs the place is quite nice. Unfortunately - one can tell that she does not know the hospitality business.||||The staff who handle the restaurant area are just terrible in in customer service. Slow, rude, often ignoring customers and worst of all - seem to have no issue with prostitutes hassling guests as they eat.||||This was a June visit - it may improve but not a great vibe (unlike other places - e.g. Akwa Palace - the prostitutes trot into the restaurant area and are soliciting...
