LODJE Hôtel & Appartements — Hotel in Communauté urbaine de Douala

We were fortunate to get to spend time at The Lodje twice this month, and neither was long enough. This new guest house is only 3 rooms, right next to the French owners’ restaurant. The rooms are spacious, and beautifully equipped with fabulous mattresses, extra pillows, excellent TVs, balconies, and big bathrooms. The showers had great water pressure and there were plenty of towels, a rarity in African countries.||We got to have the cuisine with them upon our arrival in Douala. All I can say is, try it for yourself and you will be a happier person for the rest of your life. They served us the Camerouns for which the country is named....shrimp, in other words. However, these shrimp rival lobster tails in other places, and combined with impeccable French service and David and Jerome’s thoughtful personalities, our experience was otherworldly. J'ai effectué un séjour au Lodje en juillet 2019. L'ensemble du personnel a veillé à ce que mon séjour se déroule dans les meilleures conditions possibles. Chambres impeccables, bon petit déjeuner, le restaurant L'Ovalie qui se situe juste à côté permet d'aller dîner dans une ambiance conviviale. J'ai tellement apprécié mon séjour que j'y suis retournée début septembre! Rien à dire, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

L hôtel bien qu'étant en pleine ville, est très calme et sécurisé. Le patron Jérôme nous a fait un accueil très agréable. La Chambre (climatisée) et la salle de bains sont très spacieux avec un grand lit vraiment confortable. La deco est recherchée et reposante. Nous avons pu y admirer de belles œuvres exposées par un peintre local. Le salon commun permet de profiter de petits déjeuners copieux et surtout selon le goût de chacun. En résumé une...
