My husband and I wanted to surprise my bestie and her husband on their wedding anniversary day. We decided to go to this place. We saw online that they close at 22.30 so we called. The lady on the phone told us that yes they close at that time but if we arrive before, they can close an hour later. We were so excited to get there not knowing that our joy won't last. Some waiters saw us sitting comfortably and waiting to order, they approached us to let us know that we can't eat in because they are closing soon. Maison H is by far one of the most immaculate restaurant/cafe/ice-creamerie’s in Doula. The decor is sleek and inviting. What they offer is nothing short of a luxury euro dining/bakery experience. Pro’s: -It’s the only dining establishment of its kind in Doula. -Easily accessible by taxi;security is Topnotch. -Affordable prices. I typically spend around $10 per visit for a cappuccino and pastry. (Think Starbucks prices.) Con’s: —Like most places in Doula cultivated with expats and travelers in mind, the lower staff: waiters, cashiers, security, door men are all African locals.
