My stay was overall good, sadly it was the after experience that ruined it for me. My coworker had forgot her charger in her hotel room and was able to contact the front desk to hold it for her. The women on the phone was very kind and said she would hold it until the next time we came through town since we work 3 hours away. A few months later (March 30 at noon), I stopped in to pick up the charger. I am shocked with how rudely I was treated by both the women working the front desk and the “manager”. When I explained the situation, the one women asked how long it had been since our stay, then stated it wouldn’t have been held since then, then the manager spoke up stating that they only keep items for 30 days. I again reiterated that she spoke with staff previously who stated they would hold it. Both women proceeded to tell me there is no way they would hold that item and refused to even look despite me asking them to. There was no apology from staff for the confusion or misrepresenting of holding the item. Both women appeared to be offended that I even came back to ask if the charger was there. I am so disappointed and quite honestly shocked by their behavior. Sadly, due to that poor experience they have lost all our business as no one from our agency will be staying...
Read moreWe picked this hotel because it looked nice and fairly new and we needed a stable internet connection. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. The hotel itself is very clean. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Unfortunately, the key cards for the room did not work and I had to go back to front desk. The new key cards did not work either, and it was indicated that this is a frequent problem as they keypads need to be exchanged. This was a bit time-consuming and frustrating. We were offered to move to another room, which would have been inconvenient. We chose to stay in and not leave anymore. Breakfast to go was very nice. The internet worked fine the first night, but I needed it for an important call the next morning, when it started to become unstable. I was informed that I had to contact the internet service provider myself to rectify the problem, which I found rather interesting. All in all, the hotel is nice but I would opt not to stay there again because we found it way too pricey in comparison with other similar hotels...
Read moreFirst impression: Dan at the front desk was so friendly, welcoming, helpful, and chatty. We exchanged pictures of our cats. I am not used to that kind of openness and genuine interest from hotel front desk staff and I have done a lot of travel for work! So thank you Dan.
Room: super clean, very comfy, thermostat worked, very pet friendly (1st floor only for pets). Quiet hotel despite being busy. Nice toiletries.
Breakfast: 11/10!! When they say they care about serving a high quality hot breakfast they really do mean that. Delicious waffles, eggs, sausage, hot hash browns, stations for toppings (and lots of them),baked goods, the usual breakfast carbs, yogurt, more. Coffee, tea, etc. Wowee! Bonus: there is a butter popcorn dispenser in the lobby.
Some hotels I have stayed at advertise continental breakfast and they greet you with mediocre toast and green bananas. This was terrific not just in comparison to other places but like, in general. Fiancé also enjoyed the food a lot....
