We stayed at the park for three nights. Check in was super easy and friendly. The site was plenty big enough for our 35' fifth wheel and truck. The park was quiet except for the idiots a couple sites down who enjoyed their Friday and Saturday nights. That can happen anywhere. It's a nice walk over to the falls. I'm sure we'll be back. Second review: We came back for three nights in August. The prices are much higher in August than in April. It is quite expensive so we had higher standards. We were put in a "double" site that had two posts, one halfway back and one at the back of the site. We were assigned the "A" site and were told we had the site to ourselves. We tried to hook up to the "main" post and couldn't get the water to work. We called and they sent someone over right away. The maintenance guy said that water hadn't worked all summer. The front desk should have told us that. We moved the fifth wheel back and started hooking up to the "A" post. The 50 amp plug didn't work. Again, a maintenance guy came over right away. Unfortunately he said he wasn't an electrical guy and told us he would leave a note for his boss so it could get fixed in the morning. It didn't. Wifi is $3 per device per day. The wifi wasn't great and it wasn't clear how to enter the voucher code. We have no problem paying for wifi. When we do pay we expect better service. The wifi in the park needs to be upgraded. Again, we wondered if they enforce the noise rules. Neighbours were outside talking well past midnight. Someone in that group was playing with a noisy electronic device until close to 1 am. This is a nice park. We have higher expectations when we have to pay so much to stay there. They didn't live up to those expectations.

Approaching from the north, RV Life Trip Wizard directed us to CA-1 Exit 138, but a Camperland billboard recommended Exit 135. We took Exit 135 and it brought us directly to the campground; Exit 138 would likely be better if arriving from the south. Check-in on a Friday after Labor Day was busy but fairly efficient. We had reserved a back-in site but were assigned Pull-through Site 228 instead. It included FHUs (50/30/20 AMP) and sat in front of the pool, which we were told had closed for the season—though no one mentioned it was directly in front of a playground. After a long traffic-delayed drive on CA-1, we opted not to ask why we couldn’t be placed in one of the quieter back-ins toward the rear of the campground. On the bright side, Site 228 was enormous—long enough for our 40’ toy hauler with the patio down, plus space to park our F450 on either side. Shrubs flanked the pad, providing a sense of privacy. We stayed here mainly to visit the nearby falls and golf course, though the course appeared closed when we arrived. A $3/day pet fee applies. We got 2 bars on both Verizon and T-Mobile and were able to move Starlink around to find a decent sky shot. Campground WiFi was usable, testing at 37 Mbps download; packages start with 30 minutes free and then charge by the day. There’s also a decent fenced dog area that we appreciated. We enjoyed the trail to the falls. Overall, Camperland was a good enough stop, but not really our style.

We recently stayed at RV Site 34A and unfortunately had a very difficult experience due to the extremely small size of the site. It took us 45 minutes to park, even with help from staff and neighboring RV guests. While we were eventually able to park, the fit was extremely tight (see attached photos for reference). Issues we experienced: • Could not fully open the awning as it was blocked by surrounding greenery. • No space to properly lay out our mat. • Had to eat beside shrubs due to limited space. • Could not set up the tent we had originally planned for. We brought our concerns to the front desk, but were told this was the assigned site and that other vacant spots as shown in picture 30 and 16 were pre-assigned to others. However, during our stay—both that night and the next day—we noticed other more spacious sites sitting empty. Not to mention because of no space our belongings are sitting next to the electrical room which not be. We originally booked a tent site on January 24, 2025, and switched to an RV site on July 24, 2025, after securing an RV rental. Camperland switched our booking without issue at the time. I even called again to confirm that we could also set up a tent on our RV site, and was told by the clerk that it would be fine. It’s disheartening to know there may have been an opportunity to resolve this, yet nothing was done. We hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for future guest experiences.

This was my 'go to' for the last several years. This year I was not impressed. Arrived Wed, and although when reserving in advance, I request to not be in the lower section( feild ) closest to the freeway traffic. I was told "that's the only area that's available "

The whole area was unoccupied. 20 to 30 other sites in that section alone . At 930pm 2 couples set up directly next to us. I let them know I had a sleeping 4 yr old two feet away from where they were having dinner , suggested they could move their table, they couldn't be bothered, "they were having dinner in their own paid site". They were up until 230am " loving their tequila" and yes it was vocalized several time throughout the night, as their spot light shined brightly onto our trailer. 6 am one of them started the truck and left but had the great idea to leave the barking dog outside.

Our site was next to the water slide parking lot so 9 am school buses start pulling up, teachers oblivious to the sleeping campers on the other side of the bushes , they screamed at their students and the kids screamed in excitement. I went to the office to complain , requested moving. Nope, there was nothing they could do. My neighbors moved tho, ok ok .. so we slept Thurs night. But low and behold Friday morning 4-5 more buses with more screaming school kids arrived.

At 430pm three East Indian families with 8 screaming kids arrive in 5 different cars. They occupied one site, directly next to us. Mind you there are still approx 20 other sites in the area , away from our site. They wait until 930pm to start setting up a small village of tents. Playing Punjabi music and kids running through other people's sites. It seemed to be a spectators sport as other campers watch. 1045 pm with 5 of their 8 kids screaming " I love soccer" kicking the ball into our site directly next to our fire, we decide to lock the trailer and leave for the night.

Keep in mind 10 pm is quiet time but who actually checks or who really cares at all. Where are staff after the store closes at 8pm? ....Just Call the after hours # in case of an emergency?

Saturday we returned to pack up and leave. Again told, sorry you've experience that, there's nothing we can do! As a business they should keep in mind schools are planning year end class trips to the water slides, mid to late june, why put campers in that area Monday to Friday when there's lots of other sites free. And maybe hire staff to monitor the camp site after hours. Even off grid camping there is a park ranger to monitor the area.

Worst experience in my 30 years of camping.

Follow up: regarding Shane Edwards review : No he was not in our party . I was camping alone with my grand kids.

But Yes, I was originally offered site 11 , I declined bc it was closer to the freeway and further away from the bathrooms and pool. I was told 18 had no one on either side.

I did report the event from Wed night to 2 separated staff on Thursdays. Was told sorry. Asked to move, I was told nothing was available but my neighbors moved later that day. At that time I asked that it be noted to never put me in the...

As I write this review, I find myself torn. As the facilities were adequate, but I felt that for $66 a night I should get a bit more. I booked our camping trip a week before going, after we had done a quick site visit. I found Camperland nice, just a bit tight as the space between neighbours was not like it is in a regular campground. But as I understand things, because I am new to camping this is the norm for RV style campgrounds. The lodge was interesting, the playgrounds were great, bathrooms clean enough, although I thought it was a bit cheeky to charge for hot water in the showers, and the waterslides fantastic. Where I found this campground really fell short was patrolling and monitoring guest experiences while on their campsite, which you would expect at $66 a night! They touted themselves as a FAMILY driven campground, with restrictions on noise and hours, exactly what I was looking for. As I understood things, they kept an eye out on things and made sure everything was safe and peaceful. I did feel safe, it was just it was not so peaceful. There are minimal patrols if any.... I didn't see any. On the way out, I thought I would mention to the staff my less than desirable experience. I think in the back of my mind, I wanted them to say something like. “Oh my goodness, we are so sorry that happened to you, please accept our most sincere apologies and we would like to offer you a discount on your next stay to prove this is not a common occurrence.” Or “We will have review how we are patrolling the facilities to try to mitigate that from happening again. It is not the norm here at Camperland at all and we are so sorry. Please be assured if you return you will not experience something like that again.” Rather, I got a girl who said things like….. “We have staff who live on site and they didn’t notice anything.” “If you have a problem you need to complain so we can fix there is nothing we can do if you tell us after it has happened.” And, “Yes we patrol but we stop at about 10:30PM, that is how it works here, we saw noticed nothing going on.” There did not seem to be any sympathy that I had had to listen to loud music and excessive profanity for 2 days or that I was astounded that at $66 a night I expected pro-active security rather than reactive and it was my problem not theirs to report it, as it was not their job to “notice” it. I don’t think I will be returning…………… On second thoughts, I might, as I want to find out if it was a one-off experience, and the facilities are quite good and close to home, I just left with a really bad experience and got no recognition when I complained, and was made to feel like it was my fault. So, I wanted to vocalize it here. I feel a bit better now! Lastly, I am also curious to see if anyone at the company takes any accountability with this post and extends an apology or olive branch of some sort. Not such a happy camper today! Peace...

CONVENIENT TO STAY BUT PAYMENT/BOOKING/CHECK OUT/STAFF A PAIN

We stayed in the Hawk's Den which is one of their cabins at an amazing rate of about $300 a night all in (YIKES!). But it was the best option out there if you don't have an RV and don't want to tent it. Like my caps title says, it was convenient, and the Cabin was pretty nice.

The booking was a pain. The website isn't the easiest to use, and although they charge you extra people over the 6 person base rate, you can't pay for that in advance, even if you call in to try.

At check in, the lady was nice enough, helped us get an extra tent site ($50 a night, not cheap), but she never told us anything about the cabin and even failed to give us the key. Only when we came back to get the key did she say:

-Wash all the dishes -Take out all the garbage -Leave the bedding and linens

We looked in the cabin, on line anywhere to see if we could get something in writing to show exactly what we need to do. No luck so we just took the ladies word for it. However, they only give you one dish cloth and no drying rack. So we did the best we could after cooking for 7 people and washed all the dishes and left them on the counter to dry. Of course we took out all the garbage and then left to check out.

The lady at the check out not as nice. I would describe her as power trip girl. She now says

-Did you use the BBQ? No it was garbage we used our own -Wash all the dishes ? Yes -Take of the bedding off the beds? No we were never told to do so.

So off we go back to do the strangest thing as we were told to take the bedding off but to leave them on the bed? Whatever, if that's what power trip lady wants that's what we'll do.

So we do all this and go home thinking all was well, but look at our credit card statement and see a $25 charge. I call on a Thursday to ask what that's about. She says its a cleaning fee because the dishes were left on the counter and there was garbage in the washroom. I can guarantee there was no garbage as we had the "luxury" of doing two checks before we left and the dishes on the counter ? Come on, what else were we supposed to do with no dish rack and one dish cloth to dry?

She said she would leave a message with the manager to call me back. Friday passes and so does the weekend. I call on Monday and leave another message because this elusive manager is no where to be found. Tuesday passes no call. I then leave an email to the Camperland on their website. To date no reply. Of course since they don't have a direct email contact, but only a website contact page and they don't give an email confirmation of your contact it is possible they never got that email.

Long story short, out $25 more after spending $300 a night with no response whatsoever from Camperland management.

I wouldn't recommend staying there. You could be lucky and not have to deal with the staff or payment issues, but that's...
