Have been to Gold Mountain twice this summer, and had a great experience both times. This Campground is definately set up for RVs, but when I let them know we were in tents they right away made sure we would be in a suitable site, and it worked perfectly! ||The family who run this Campground are so friendly and accommodating. They really go the extra mile to make sure each guest has everything they need, and is having a good time.||This Campground has everything you need and more - clean washrooms, picnic tables, fire pits, Firewood sold on site (for an excellent price!), a games room, a playground, grass areas to run around in, games to play, plus the river to swim in.||Really a bit of everything, but the thing that will really bring me back is how friendly and welcoming the hosts are :) ||We did not have children with us, but I certainly recommend this place to those with children. They have a playground as well as lots of fun activities to keep them busy (giant chess, horseshoes, putting green, gold panning, plus the games room). ||As far as negatives, I would say that the only negative is that the sites are very close together, so there really isn't any privacy from your neighbors. Also this is not a fancy new Campground - the washrooms are not like something you would find in a hotel (however they are kept quite clean and well stocked), and the wifi is quite slow. So don't expect a "hotel experience" outdoors - it is definately camping. It is also very family oriented - if you want to blast music or stay up yelling until all hours of the early morning this...

I've been camping private and public and stay in motels and hotels all the time but throughout my experiences and friends that I know not a single person has ever said a private campground has charged a fee for visiting or seeing them at a campground where they were camping. This Korean owner is watching me and nosy looking around at our camping area and bothering us as soon as I arrived to visit my family at the campground. He asked my family to pay $10 each person just to visit them for the afternoon. I was so surprisedly shocked and unhappy about it. I told him you can't charge people for simply visiting a little bit then go home. He said it's his business rule. I told him I'll give a bad review on Facebook then he turned around of accusing me of threatening him ( given his broken English) and ask me to leave his property. On top of that making the matter worse the area is not safe one of my family members broke her wrist and rushed to the hospital due to sharp rocks, uneven and not properly built foundations. With these experiences I'd never visit this place ever again this is...

At Gold mountain RV Park and campground you'll find pretty much everything you'll need for an amazing camping trip. From the tranquil sound of the beautiful Similkameen River to Mountain views and everything in-between. The cabins are definitely my favorite but the sites are well maintained and Danny is a pro and getting your unit into them for a proper fit. 5mins away is Hedley a village filled with history. The Country market has everything you need to top up your food and liquor coolers to get back out to your site for a giant game of chess. Gold mountain has flush toilets and hot showers. They have a small games room on site and horseshoes and a little kids play center with swings. Its a stones throw down to the river for great fishing, swimming, floating or maybe even a little gold panning. Bromley Rock Provincial park is just up thr highway with a beautiful sandy beach. So I suggest you get online quick and book your spot soon!! See you this summer

Our first time here as we needed a mini getaway from Vancouver. Worth the drive up. The owner Danny greeted us and was an easy check in. We noticed a clean site all around. Including the bathrooms. Rooms were clean too. Cabins were perfect the only thing were the uncomfortable beds, so I'd bring a foamy. Note you also need to bring your own bedding. You'd have to for camping anyway. Mattresses were clean and NO BUGS! View from cabins were perfect and very relaxing. Picnic table on your patio included. We truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this place! Will return next year for sure Thanks Danny!

Heaven on earth. One of the most peaceful place and cleanest place. We love the people who run it .. just amazing and polite human beings. This is a mix between camping and cabins unlike the cubicle glamping cabins you see everywhere. If u have seen this place you’re definitely missing out. We have stayed all kind of cabins cheap, expensive, u name it… nothing can touch this place. It’s actually not just the cabins it’s the Godly environment around it. 6 years of going there back to back. Pack your bags if you want to live by the river with Gorgeous views.
