Baywatch Lighthouse and Cottages — Hotel in Brackley Beach

The lighthouse was not accommodating for the amount of people it is advertised to sleep… The first floor which is the living room ..kitchen has a half wall which has cut the living room to a small area and has a bed and dresser in it. So 12 people as it is advertised to sleep could not really visit together in the small space. Classified as a bedroom but w not a door. Nor privacy. The basement has four beds in it. No privacy .. damp and smells The second floor had a nice bedroom and ensuite. But that was it. The third floor has a dead bird display … So the idea of renting a lighthouse w the nostalgia of staying in different upper floors is not what this is. Downstairs bathroom smelt like urine. We had to ask for any extra basic supplies and we were a family of 7. Laundry was said to b on site and included it was not and they wanted $3.00 per wash and dry. There were mouse droppings between stair cracks and we heard mice at night. Overall I would never recommend this place to stay at. Owners r kind but did not resolve any of our issues. We left early. .. don’t stay here if u are looking for a space...

My family and i stayed here and we absolutely loved it! The first night we stayed in one of the motel rooms which was so beautiful, colours in room were bright ,nice big soft blankets as extras ,linens for bath were big and had plenty for four of us! Beds were comfy we really enjoyed it! The next three nights we moved to one of their cottages they were amazing!! It was as if we were at home had everything we needed from a fridge, stove even a dishwasher!!! The huge deck had a barbeque as well and a firepit for guests to use which we enjoyed too!Everything was in this cottage that we needed and it was clean and very well decorated! Loved the location and the staff were so pleasant and helpful we didnt want to leave! We will definately be returning to Baywatch Lighthouse and Cottages again and cant see how anyone could not love this place its going to be my new yearly...

Had a great stay at Baywatch Cottages. Gianna was very polite, helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions or needs. There were four of us staying in the cottage (two adults, two children). It was small (no bedrooms) but we had enough room. It had WiFi, cable TV, BBQ, a full kitchen with microwave and stove and on-site laundry facilities. The cottage itself was very clean, well-equipped and located only a few minutes south of Brackley Beach (one of the best beaches on the island) and The Dunes art shop and restaurant. It's about 20 minutes north of Charlottetown and a minute north of Shirley's Snack Bar (amazing food). Would definitely stay...
