I was expecting much better, from the reviews I read. Sold to me as a double queen room, there were two beds, but they were more a double, not queen. One of them had wrinkled sheets that looked an awful lot like those from someone sleeping(aka unchanged sheets). The bathroom was disgusting. It’s pretty obvious that someone is doing a 10 minute spot clean between guests. Black handprints on the wall. Grotesque streaks down the wall from shower steam, looks like years of…. Who knows! To top it all off, the bathmat had footprints from the last person or people that showered there! Come on you guys! My wife didn’t even want to touch anything in the room and didn’t sleep at all. The outside was just as bad. Nobody has even swept the stairs or walkways in what looks like YEARS. I was exhausted and HAD to sleep or we would have just left. Not recommending in any way shape or form.

As a traveler I need a good quiet rest, not interested in fancy accoutrements. Was able to park my car and unload just 6' from my room door. Heated floor, no drafty heater or fans. Slept like a baby with good blankets and pillow top mattress. Hwy next door but you don't hear it. I didn't ask for kitchenette but it was good to use the microwave and coffee maker for my own food inventory. Just a few rooms down the sidewalk is the convenience store which doubles as a lobby registration desk. A&W is across the street and other eateries are within walking distances.

Was skeptical to stay here as the last review was so bad but it was raining out so took the plunge. This place was great. You check in in the gas station and the guy working was super friendly. The room was super clean and everything worked. The bed was comfortable. I was even able to park my motorcycle under the awning in front of my room. The price was $70+ tax for a single room which is pretty good value. The room was very warm but that was quite nice as it was cold and raining outside. I’ll definitely stay here when I come through Fort Nelson.

Absolute worst and MOST DISGUSTING place. Beds covered in dog hair and staff had NO additional sheets to replace the ones covered in filth and hair. Carpet looked as it had never been vacuumed. SMELLED soooo disgusting. Walls dirty. Spiders crawling all over in room. Only pet friendly that was available. WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF SLEEPING IN MY CAR. Asked manager for communication but got NOTHING. WANT A REFUND!!! Health department should condemn. COMPLETE HEALTH HAZARD

Staff immediately asked me NOT TO POST A GOOGLE REVIEW….very suspicious

To add to your response since I cannot comment back…your staff did not offer another room until after the third time I went to them with an issue and it was very very late. I was there with my whole family and leaving a few hours later, already unpacked, and tired after a 10hour drive. My comments are NOT false. I have pictures to back up all my statements. Your front desk staff specifically told me not to post a google review and that was the FIRST thing she said! Maybe talk to her about that. I also emailed “Manandeep” directly and didn’t get a response. It’s unprofessional to be ignored by management. Please...

BEDBUGS!

If you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor and keep driving.

I wasn’t expecting luxury — it’s a smoking motel in Fort Nelson, and for the price I thought I could rough it. First impression: not clean, but I figured I could deal with it. Then I learned the shower didn’t even work. No water at all. Fine. I used wet wipes and made do.

But the real deal breaker? Bedbugs. When I pulled back the blanket, I found one crawling on the pillow. On the underside of the blanket, two more scurried away into the dark. That was it for me.

I jumped up, packed my things, and got out immediately. Thankfully, I was given a refund and the desk staff were polite. But no amount of friendly service makes up for a filthy room crawling with bedbugs.

Bottom line: This place is a risk to your health and your belongings. Bedbugs are no joke — they hitchhike, and the last thing you want is to bring them into your truck, camp, or home. Spend a little more and stay...
