Seaside Shacks — Hotel in Cheticamp

The Seaside Nest exceeded our expectations 10 fold!!! The on-line photos do not do it justice. It is very clean, spacious [housed our family of ten], beautifully decorated, yet very comfortable. It is well stocked with amenities: including both a coffee maker and a Keurig, an air fryer and in-house laundry (which is handy if you go to the beach or hike every day) The view from the beautifully made, large wrap around wooden deck is lovely to sit on with a coffee in the morning, or to eat dinner on, at sunset. The Seaside Nest is very close to the Cape Breton Highlands, making it very accessible to the famous Skyline Trail (along with many other beautiful trails). Our Host, Jon, was also helpful to answer our questions about the area, and he made great recommendations for near-by tails and beaches. Jon was also quick to answer questions about the Seaside Nest (eg. where things were, or how things worked) while maintaining our privacy. Definitely a 10 out 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you Jon! My family and I have never been to Cheitcamp and staying at the Seaside Shanty was the prefect place to wrap up our getaway. It was so comfortable and provided everything and more to make our trip memorable. Jon was amazing. He was right there when we needed him for anything, quick responses. We thoroughly enjoyed being in walking distance to everything and having two different levels of decks to choose from. Seaside Nook was an amazing experience for me. I had the pleasure of being there for 10 days as of Aug 11/21. The tranquility, the ocean, the sunsets, were all great. The connection for internet was fast & efficient. All items that you would find in your home was at my fingertips & that includes washer & dryer.
