I stayed here for several weeks as part of a temporary housing arrangement through Community Living. I want to warn others in similar situations: this location is not safe or trauma-informed. Despite being quiet and cooperative during my stay, I was evicted suddenly over vague behavior claims without any warning or process.

Staff did allow me until 11:00 AM to pack my belongings, which I appreciated, but the overall experience was extremely destabilizing. There was no support offered from management, and I was treated as a problem instead of a person.

Our family was recently stranded in Bracebridge for 3 nights due to a massive snowstorm, and we were lucky enough to find the Cedar Lane Motel. We got the last available room, and were so thankful for it. The staff were so amazingly accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, even allowing us to have a super late check out one day when we weren’t sure if the highway was going to reopen or not. We had a full kitchen to work with which turned out to be really useful. And the beds were so comfortable! Planned two nights here with my wife and two young teenage children. We were out mostly every day but this place was a little gem!!||Very very clean, crisp white bed sheets, infact the entire room was imaculate. Very freindly and helpful management with very high standards of cleanliness. I have never seen such a consistently clean outdoor swimming pool which was tended to four times a day.
