Perfect bed and breakfast as the whitewater rafting is onsite.|This little lodge has been beautifully converted from what used to be a wildlife museum. The staff are exceptionally friendly, accommodating and attentive. Our room was cozy; crisp clean linens, extra blankets, fresh towels and loads of hot water. There is a sitting room with a mini fridge, tea and coffee 24/7, a flatscreen tv, books and games and a ‘gas’ woodstove.|Breakfast was scrumptious- muesli, granola, fresh yogurt and fruit, homemade frittatas, juice , coffee and an assortment of breakfast bakery items as well as bread and bagels to toast. I was under the assumption because of Covid rooms weren’t supposed to be fully booked or at least spread out but there was people right next to me and I could hear them talking all night long. You’d think they would make the walls not so thin considering it’s a hotel ? Won’t be staying again due to this.    Read moreWe are here for five nights. The rooms are beautiful and quiet. Yes, they are small and there is no place for baggage (but we don't have much!), but everything is spanking new and very clean. There are two lovely common rooms and we spent time in the hot tub this afternoon. The best surprise is a fantastic breakfast every morning--two kinds of frittata, fruit, cereal, toast, coffee and juice. It is more expensive than we usually pay, but it is a treat for us and we feel that it is worth it! I have to say that whoever decorated here is a fan of the show "Fixer Upper"--everything is in white, greys, with pinecone...
