So strange experience the hotel itself is really nice ...honestly the facility itself was great, breakfast was excellent and it was clean HOWEVER the staff suck! My experience started with the front desk agent Joseph not even wanting to give me a room. I don't think he took me seriously because I came in alone with 2 kids. I literally had to call my husband and put him on speaker to get joesph to cooperate. Then me and the kids went to the pool. Noone else was in there we all how shower flip-flops in the pool area Joseph came in and told us that wasn't allowed so I turned to my 5 yr old and asked her to move them because I also had a two year old with me. Before I could finish asking the 5yr old Joseph stood angrily and demanded I moved them NOW. ....later that night I went swimming again but this time my husband went to the pool first. And it was busy every single person had their street sheos in the pool area. I was in the hot tub less than 2 minutes and here comes Joseph again (while wearing his street shoes in the pool area) he walks right over to wear I'm standing and starts asking me whose bottle of water is this! I didn't answer, so he asked 2x more times. My husband notices the commotion and comes and stands beside me and Joseph just walks off. It was so uncomfortable and hostile.
Next morning I go downstairs because my key won't work and again I'm alone with my 2 kids I stand in line and wait my turn. My 5yr old starts fiddling with a small lamp in the lobby turning it off and on. (Harmless, she was just curious on how it works) it was my turn to get service so I walked up to the desk and Misha the front desk agent doesn't make eye contact with me turns and starts yelling at my 5 yr old across the lobby. I had to tell her to stop ✋️ . I was literally in shock and disappointed with the staff at this establishment.
My 5yr old asked me why every here hates us and I couldn't give a an answer

Read moreStayed here December 23 through December 26. No room service was provided—no cleaning of the room. The hotel gave letters to guests stating “room attendants have the 24 and 25th of December off. If you require any amenities please let our front desk know and they will be happy to assist!” Well that is fine i do not need my bed made or garbage taken out. However “happy to assist” was certainly not the case! We needed some clean towels. So i called the front desk to bring some up to us. The response from the woman attending the front desk was “ you have to come to the front desk. “ I replied “ i am calling the front desk. I would like some clean towels sent to our room. “ after some back and forth and not understanding why she cannot have towels sent up to our room i said to her “ i am a guest of the hotel and i would like towels sent up. “ she said should would. An hour later i had to call front desk again. The same woman answered with exasperation. And said she was on her way and that i did not have to call . Well when she arrived st the door with towels she gave us, the guests, heck because she had to bring up towels. She told me that i should have went downstairs to the front desk and picked them up ourselves. I told her that she should never tell guests to go and pick up towels themselves from the front desk —that is not customer service. She had the audacity to say while she was leaving that my comment was abusive!!! Ridiculous! Well the next evening we needed toilet paper. Unfortunately the same person was working the front desk. The same situation. Lack of customer service. She said we should come get it ourselves. My husband said are we going to go through this again? Close to an hour later no one came to our door. My husband was on his way downstairs. He opened the door and there the toilet paper was. She did not knock on the door or let us know she was going to bring any up!
Horrible customer service! She should be fired! This woman obviously cannot provide proper customer service in an industry where customer service is . She should be replaced...
Read moreVery good location, easy to find! King bed room was large, clean, lots of lights with warm white light bulbs are not my choice (but that's personal preference), bathroom is brightly lit, decent size, shower was great and nice hot water. Love the Mother Earth Essentials soap bar and lotions provided (Edmonton based company). Free breakfast had a wonderful selection to choose from! Very clean. Senior rate $147, and the employee with whom I booked over the phone, was extremely friendly. CONS: either the bed seemed uncomfortable or sheets are "not soft"; and (a big one), the front desk check-in employee was rude and unwelcoming to a seasoned hotel traveller! ..... March 4th, Saturday, we arrived at 1:30 pm and hoping we would be able to check in, the front desk lady retorted "you do realize that check-in is 3!" Though she still checked us in, it certainly did not make you feel welcome! (Noteworthy: no cars in parking lot, and the next day no cars in lot ... so obviously hotel was not fully booked either day). I could understand if the rooms were fully booked for both days, one could not check in early, but surely when not fully booked, hotels have always been friendly and accommodating, and if we had to wait, were politely advised. ..and not be chastised.) Hopefully, that "attitude" will be corrected should...
