SIGN, SIGN, EVERYWHERE A SIGN! I saw the park owner discriminate against a tenant with a disability. There are intimidating (and frankly frightening) signs and rules everywhere, and the owners selectively enforce these rules for their friends. I was crying and upset, and I saw the neighbors admit to this disabled gentleman that the park owner has no idea what he's doing. The neighbors kept the park owner away from the tenant and helped the tenant finish their hookup. Good for them for standing up. - There is full hookup, but the sites have no hedges and no attempts whatsoever were made at site soundproofing or privacy, so it's like living in a fishbowl. If you choose a non hookup site, they will not allow you to use a boondocker for waste disposal so they are means-testing tenants and giving a preference to truck owners. All sounds reverberate all over the park, and certain Karen's feel the need to patrol the state of the RVs while failing to power clean their own. IMPORTANT - The landlord has a super creepy camera system in his trailer and he constantly patrols the tenants, including by zooming in their windows and recording them without their consent. I think he should let the police worry what is inside the trailers and RVs and HE should mind his business and safety. The park owner also does not allow ebikes, motorcycles, or outdoor items for tenants who are not his best buddies, so do not bring them. In fact, frankly, I would just skip Maple Ridge altogether and just stay somewhere nicer like Mission; Chilliwack; Kelowna; Hope. Even Abbotsford is nice. I especially did not like the park owner's derogatory comments about boondocker trolleys, which he called a "honey box" or something like that. Why don't you mind your business, guy? It's a trailer park, in nature. I don't get why this guy is so uppity when he has such chill tenants and such a nice location. The site super eventually banged loudly on my RV door to complain about the private conversations I was having with colleagues on my WORK CATION. He did this multiple times and instigated several worried phone calls to police. He (or his...son??) yells in his trailer, and then blames other tenants. He tried to walk it back, but I hitched up and left town first thing in the morning with the fam. It is a shame the landlord treats tenants like this. I've attached photos of the threatening sign and of his trailer, since he feels he can publish pictures of my own trailer online.

Maple Ridge RV Park is definitely a very well run park. Florian keeps the park in excellent shape and is a very understanding and accommodating manager. The two negative reviews I read on here are definitely coming from people that are looking for a different type of park. My boyfriend has his trailer here in order to be closer to his job sites and he appreciates that it is a quiet park where he can get a good night sleep before going to work. The other campers here are all respectable and friendly and we have made a few nice new friends here. This is a wonderful place if you want a site were there is excellent security...

We resided here over a year & the manager (Florian) made it very clear that you have no rights & he can evict anyone at anytime. There are seniors that are sick, he's still disrespectful and in everyone's business. We felt we couldn't sit outside for fear of him lurking or driving by. There should be quiet, use and enjoyment of your spot. Too bad it's a nice location. DO NOT STAY HERE! He is belittling, chauvinistic and cares about no one. There are no fires (even propane), no dogs, no motorcycles, no visitor parking...
