Red Rest Motel — Hotel in Redwater

I stayed at this i Place for a couple days at the on last 2 days of feb 2022.I had to check out a couple days early and had the room rented for 2 more days.I then went to office in the morning of the first day before i was checking out to ask for a refund for for the 2nd day.The first day wouldn't have been refundable because i never gave 24hour notice which is understandable.So there was no one around to talk to.So i left a note explaining the situation.So the same day (March1/2022) I recieved a text message from crazy lady Redrest saying i would recieve a refund or a free night for the 2nd night.After i left there i was working in sask for 2 months so i never had the chance to return to get my refund.On April 9 i sent a text message asking if i could get a etransfer for the refund on the room.I never even recieved a reply from my text message.I am pretty disappointed simply to the fact that i was ignored and that i never got a refund for the room.I would say that it is.pathetic to rip off a hard working blue collar guy for 80$ and very unprofessional.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for that reason and the rooms are not very clean and to say they are less than average would be a understatement.If you like 70's furniture and beds that probably haven't been cleaned since the 70's then this would be the...

I highly recommend this motel as a budget- and pet-friendly stay. I stayed here for a week with my spouse and dog and it was an overall very lovely experience. I can't say enough good things about the owner! He is amiable and attentive - truly 10/10 customer service. He gave us a good deal on our longer stay and the pet fee (which, as anyone who has tried traveling with furry friends knows, can be extortionate in some places) and, after we expressed unease about a few elements of the original room we were assigned, he allowed us to inspect 2 other rooms and move into the one we preferred.

They precharged my cc for rooms - then when we checked in and found our room full of bed bugs we left immediately. Jerry the guy at the front desk - said he was the manager but yelled and screamed at us about giving us a refund. Refused to give the owners name or anyone that could assist us. Advised us he would do nothing about it. Charged the full amount before even staying in the hotel - is steeling - then not refunding when leaving because it is full of bugs in unconsionable.
