This has been the cleanest hotel I've stayed in! Walked in the room, and you could smell the freshness and see how nice it is. Stayed there 2 times now, once way before covid, and then in 2024 and both times, it was perfect! I love that they continue to offer the free breakfast, which a lot of hotels dont offer anymore. That was one of the reasons why i picked this hotel. From hash browns, sausage, eggs, waffels, and a variety of baked goods, i think cereal and johurt, and more, it was a good assortment. Also, I loved the hot temperature of the hottub! Steamroom was unfortunately out of order. I would have loved to use that, too. The pool is a cooler temperature. it's nice to cool off. I stayed in a bunch of 'spa mineral hotels' where i wish they could follow this hotels standard for cleanliness. The hotel sits far enough from downtown, so you are not in the busy center but also just a 5 minute drive to downtown. Explored the marine museum and walked the trails there, and watched a lot of pelicans on the river. Also, only 30 minutes away from winnipeg Beach. Definitely would go back again!!

Update :Tried again this time gf stepped on a piece of shattered crack pipe in pool area and there were cigarette butts behind the TV ....... And steam ssuna still not fixed. assistant manager was great though. Hotel is still in decent shape 6 years after last stay here. Staff however has gone way down in service. Evening front desk clerk is very rude to other customers. Refusing to provide change for on-site laundry to another guest who was already washing her clothes. Pool area very dirty with garbage on floor. Mould in the grout. Steam room non functioning. When it was requested that perhaps out of order sign be posted was told people can figure it out by the same clerk who was so rude to the other guest. She said other people had told her and it's a long process to get it fixed.

Gorgeous, extraordinarily clean, fantastic service, feels brand new, smells super fresh, very generous and delicious continental breakfast, and got an extremely late check out, which I was thankful as I had four children with me. I recommend this to everyone and anyone who needs to stay in a beautiful clean safe gorgeous hotel. I just went for a break with my kids to go swimming. It was quiet. It was clean. The hotel was full, but it was so comfortable and quiet. A lot of other people brought some children. There was families. There was ice fisherman everywhere. It was a great stay.

Edit to respond to the owners aligations in his response: Yes we did a have ONE noise complaint come to our door shortly after returning to the hotel (was not going to mention this as it also brings up the complaint of the walls being so paper thin we could hear full word for word conversations happening two doors down) after receiving the complaint we quieted down. The owner also stated that they tried to reach back to us with no prevail. If that were the case we would have the photos we requested of the damage several times either to our email we provided the front desk with or to our phone number they clearly would have from our multiple messages left. That being said the point of my review was to show the terrible customer service this establishment shows. To reiterate, the bed collapsed simply from laying on it, to which we luckily only had minor injuries. We have documentation of our many attempts to contact and rectify as well as Drs notes and documentation into the injuries we received from the incident. We will be referring the matter to small claims court and possibly proceeding with a claim as we couldn't have a simple conversation with the manager to rectify the conversation. If I could give 0 stars I would. Friends and I stayed here as guests of a wedding nearby. Upon returning to the room after the wedding (around 2am) and sitting on the bed to go to sleep the whole bed frame collapsed injuring my friends foot and as well as her fiance's back. Being it was the middle of the night and we had had a long day we waited and informed front desk upon check out what had happened. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic and we informed her it was no worries and luckily there were only minor injuries. We thought all was handled until a week later we see a $280 charge to our credit card. Upon seeing this charge we attempted to contact the hotel to get explanation of why the large amount was charged and were informed it was because of the broken bed frame. We then asked to speak to the manager to come to a resolution as we made claim upon check out the bed collapsed from simply lying down to go to sleep. We were informed the manager would call us back the following business day. A week had passed and we had not had a return phone call from said manager and attempted to reach out again. After several attempts to reach the manager with promise he would return our call, we were told by front staff there was nothing they could do and essentially to bad. We were only looking to come to a resolution in the matter as it did break while we were occupying the room but felt it was more a safety concern that it happened in the first place. We weren't jumping on the bed , we weren't piling on to it, we were simply laying down to go to sleep. The fact that the manager wouldn't even speak to us on the matter is beyond infuriating. In summation, do not stay here! Or you yourself may have obscene charges following your stay for damages out of your control with no hopes of...

This review is to warn any hockey teams or groups that want to enjoy their visit to not stay at this hotel. If you are on your own with no children and don't have a hockey stick you will most likely be fine. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is meh but typical for this level of hotel. Do not try to visit in the lobby though. Not allowed. Too loud. At 7pm.||The stay started on a high note when they confiscated my kids hockey sticks. I was parking while they did this so I could not intervene. The sticks were locked up but no room number or any label to determine whose stick was whose. Needless to say I got my sticks back and put them in the vehicle. Which is not ideal with the amount of vehicles that get broken into these days.||Next up was a small group 6-7 people having some food and visiting at the tables in the lobby get scolded for being too loud. It was 7pm. They were not loud either. I was not with this group or even know them. Just an observation as I walked through the lobby. ||The pool is pretty much pointless for kids. They are not allowed to make noise or jump in. Not making that up. No noise, no jumping in the pool. Good times.||The hotel also does not allow guests under 18 to be alone in a room for any length of time. So your 13 year old that is legally able to care for younger children alone anywhere else needs a chaperone in the room at this hotel.||By the end of the stay we were estimating the inmates at the Penitentiary have less rules to follow.||I wish I was making this up but it is all true. If you are travelling as a group or have children avoid this hotel. Drive an extra 15-20 minutes...

We needed a quiet room to stay overnight where our dog had surgery. We were grateful to have a room that allowed pets. On the main floor which room had a door to the outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, but quite cold. We had to ask for extra blankets and we had the heat on maximum. The outside door to room, had at least a 1/2" opening around the frame, which you could see through to the outside, lots of cold air pouring in at all times, needs fixing or some monster weather stripping. Bathroom tile floor was super cold to stand on, you would need warm slippers the whole time. The king size bed was great, but was quite hard, I assumed a tight top rather than a pillow top, sure would have appreciated a foam topper. It was $187 for a standard king (incl. $15 for pet). This was the 'senior' rate, same as CAA etc. rate. We felt the room was over priced. The continental breakfast the next morning, was a nice surprise. To summarize: Staff, Front Desk, perfect, friendly, helpful. Nice big room. Perfect for what we needed, to stay with our pet after Surgery CONS door was not weather stripped to keep the cold out and affected the heating in the room, the bed was quite hard, summer weight quilt and no extra blankets for the cold weather, we had to keep the heat on maximu, bathroom floor like standing...
