We had the worse stay from start to finish for a two night stay (we came from Ontario to house shop) our night started off by us getting tow rollaway beds for our daughters who weee about to settle down to sleep, we get a knock on the door from such an unfriendly worker (seemed like a manager) who didn't seem to care that we had to put her on the floor. We then asked for extra sheets and pillows through the app which didn't arrive for at least 45 mins. |We woke in am to shower and found only one towel in our room. Asked for more, same thing 1 hr later Leonardo showed up who was the friendliest housekeeper. |Our toilet then was clogged which took another 30 mins for someone to show up. ||Upon check out today (Sunday) was the reason I decided to write this review. |I had a lovely girl in training (I didn't get her name). She asked me to come round the side of the desk to use the debit machine as it didn't stretch. From here I was appalled at the way SOPHIE handled a conversation with me "Can you move out of the way so I can help another guest" who didn't even need helped. She called for others to come to her and no one needed assistance. In all my years of staying at hotels. I have NEVER been spoken to in such a rude and disrespectful manner, I didn't appreciate this especially in front of our three children, I was asked to come to where I was standing also. What a rude young woman. We have always used Marriott hotels as my brother is an ambassador level and highly recommendeds us to stay. This was our worst trip ever at the delta Sherbrooke!!! Don't...
Read moreThis a nice hotel. The rooms are spacious, include a table with a lamp that has usb port and 2outlets, large tv, coffee maker, hair drier, iron, arm chair and a round table, stand for a suit case. The rooms are quiet - no street noise. Even though the hotel is undergoing renovations I did not hear any construction noise during the day. The breakfast buffet was effected by renovations during ur stay and was moved to a conference center and did not have a full compliment of selections. The breakfast cost was 15 per person (not included in the room rate). I believe this price was reduced due to smaller selection during renovation. Parking is available in the parking lot and in the garage. The hotel has 6 charging stations for electric vehicles. We got renovated room so everything was brand new. NOTE: be aware that the USB port on the lamp is underpowered. A phone plugged in all nights was lower then the level at which I plugged it in, i.e. the charging was not able to keep up with the regular phone activity even though the indicator showed it was charging. When I switched to my own charger my phone got...
Read moreAny hotel associated with Marriot has not disappointed my family yet. This was no exception. We were greeted by a friendly bellhop man. Both he and the front desk could speak good english for us. Because we are marriot gold members, they upgraded our room and also delivered a hand written letter with a delicious cheese plate. This was unexpected and very superfluous for them. We've never had any hotel do that to us before. You should know that the hotel has been renovated which means most of the old reviews that generate a lower average rating for this hotel are obsolete because most complain about the older style to cost ratio. Truly, it was worth the cost for us. The views are spectacular because the hotel is set up on a hill and the placement of the hotel is very convenient. You have access to a variety of restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint is that they didn't have a refrigerator in our room which is very standard for most, but...
