This place is simply wonderful! We were received by the owners themselves, Yessica and Claudio, we felt at home, welcomed with kindness and lots of attentions. We got a cozy family room, large and comfortable for a family of four. The structure is new, everything works (heating, hot water, wifi,...). Breakfast and room service done with care and attention to the details. The beautiful building is mostly made of real wood, which fits perfectly into the landscape, and surrounded by trees and plants of the typical flora of Chiloé. The dining/common room is cozy and with a large fireplace, perfect on rainy days. They also maintain a beautiful trail through the woods behind the hotel ("sendero del Chucao"), an excellent experience to immerse yourself in the colors and scents of Chiloé without moving out of the place. The hotel is very close to both Dalcahue and Mocopulli airport, very practical. I recommend this place, ideal for families...
Read moreWe visited Chiloe for 4 nights in Dec 2018 and based ourselves at Hostal Casa Bosque. Our host Yessica was extremely gracious and super helpful during our stay. The rooms were great and they have an excellent central heating system for cold weather. ||Breakfast was also very well done. Cereal, toast, fresh fruit and eggs and Yessica also made cake for breakfast. Who doesn’t like cake for breakfast ??? ||We spent our days exploring Chiloe and when we returned they provided tea and coffee plus they can organize dinner if you arrange in advance. They also have a washing service if you need to clean clothes.||The property is set back from the road so it is very tranquil and they have a couple of short walks right at the property. We were only 5 mins drive from Dalcahue so everything is in easy reach if you need shops, restaurants etc.||Overall we had a great experience and we highly recommend Hostal Casa Bosque and...
