The first thing is to point out that the hotel is good, architecturally beautiful, the view in most of its rooms is beautiful, with good connectivity and location within the city. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, doing what they can to resolve any issues that may arise. That said, there are aspects of infrastructure obsolescence that are worrying: elevator without floor cancellation by mistake, permanently occupied, deteriorated emergency stairs, narrow parking lots and service corridors with deteriorated furniture. In terms of restaurants, the atmosphere of "565" is magnificent, the menu is excellent in pasta, but it disappoints in an area where there is supposed to be excellent livestock. My worst impression was T-Bone, who was tiny and an osso buco with a lot of fat and nerves. On the contrary, the restaurant on the third floor (simpler and that only has sandwiches) is a bit noisy but it must have one of the 10 best Pizzas in whole Chile. Everything could be improved there with a better selection of beers (which is limited) and a little more options...
Read moreYou won’t believe this! We checked into this place around 4:30 and was told that the restaurant was closed. Ok. No problem. We can go have lunch in the bar. Yes, they said. 3rd. floor. No! the bar is closed today. Okay. Can we order room service? No. No room service today. So…..no restaurant, no bar and no room service. I have never seen hotels operate so badly in any country as bad as this one. I don’t know who owns this hotel but they should be embarrassed. This person was behind the desk and that is the only person I saw in the building today. He said he was alone. Incredibly stupid. No manager. No one else! He gave us drink coupons. Why! Nothing was open! We stayed here last week and they overcharged us for the room. They said they would refund the difference. Still waiting. They said there was a gas leak and that’s why the dining room and bar was closed. So it’s ok to close the dining room and let people stay in the hotel. Just another lie! Do they only respond...
Read moreThe Four Points Hotel is located in the centre of unimpressive Los Angeles. The hotel was built in 2009 and offers 90 rooms over 16 floors. Furnishings and decoration provide an acceptable atmosphere. Staffs are friendly. Dining in the restaurant is a desastre.||We had a spacious room on the 10th floor. The adequately furnished & decorated room had desk & chair, fridge, comfy-chair, flat-screen TV’s, wardrobe & safe. The room had a good king-size bed, and a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower over the bath. All was clean.||Windows can be opened in safety mode. Complimentary mineral water and free Wi-Fi Internet. At the restaurant a buffet breakfast is served with an OK variety: scrambled eggs, cold cuts & cheese, bread & toast, cereals, milk & yoghurt, fruit juice, rolls & croissants, tea & coffee.||We found the Four Points Los Angeles comfortable, and we...
