Hostal Puesto Canogas — Hotel in O’Higgins

I had a truly memorable stay at this hostel. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and filled with character, making it a perfect place to rest while discovering Patagonia.

A very special thanks to Carolina, who was an outstanding host. She made me feel completely at home with her kindness, friendliness, and thoughtfulness. Each morning she prepared a delicious and wholesome breakfast, ensured the log burner was lit, and made sure everything was comfortable.

Carolina also runs a wonderful shop selling handmade items that beautifully reflect the art, culture, and history of the region. On top of that, she is an accomplished author with incredible knowledge of Patagonia’s history, culture, and art, which made every conversation with her inspiring and enriching.

This place deserves straight « A’s »! I stayed two nights at Hostal Canogas. We stayed for one night and it was a very comfortable stay. Juan Carlos is very friendly and helpful with information. The room was comfortable and warm. The shower had very good hot water.
