GranHotel — Hotel in Ovalle

This is an interesting one, pros: nice room, cable TV and the hotel itself inside is nice and modern. Cons: the lady in the front desk was very frosty and our quote in which we asked for a double room price turned out to be a single room price hence our final bill was much higher than we were expecting and as they don't speak English and we don't speak Spanish it was very difficult to argue our case! No lo recomiendo!! Sobretodo si vas en auto! El estacionamiento está a 2 cuadras y es también un estacionamiento de pago para público general. Es super incomodo. Un día me demoré como 15 minutos solo en estacionar, porque el estacionamiento estaba lleno y el encargado tuvo que sacar un par de autos y acomodarlos. Nada peor que llegar cansada al hotel y tener que esperar para estacionar el auto y luego caminar 2 cuadras para llegar a tu habitación. La entrada del hotel esta por una galeria comercial, en la mañana duermen indigentes en esa galeria!!! Si sales muy temprano en la mañana te los encontraras. No me parecio un lugar seguro, está emplazado en pleno centrol comercial y dormi mal todas las noches. La habitaciones están bien, pero todo el resto está mal. El personal en general es agradable, excepto por la recepcionista mujer más joven, cuya actitud dejaba bastante que desear. No volveré...
