Hostal Panorámico — Hotel in San Antonio

We booked through bookings.com, but when we arrived, our reservation had been cancelled. To be fair, this could have been my fault for not fully understanding the booking process. On the other hand, the hostal owner made a bad situation worse, making a big deal of the cancellation, telling us there was now no room, suddenly announcing there was a room, and then bossing us around.||||When we saw the room she proposed for the two of us, the room still reserved for our friends, and the shared bathrooms, we all decided to go elsewhere. Instead of the US$30 Hostal Panoramico would have cost, we happily paid $80 at the Alhambra Hotel. ||||In different circumstances, this hostal may well have been fine. I would have wanted to know that the location is quite far (and a long way up hill) from town and that there are no signs whatsoever marking the hostal, making for a real search. I would also have prepared myself for a sort of indoor camping experience, which is quite different than the pictures on...

El desayuno rico y el criterio de ponernos estufa para una habitacion muy fria con escaleras sin cintas antideslizantes, peligroso. Nos cobraron 30.000 por una pieza de muy mala calidad y nos sacaron las cosas antes de la hora de salida. De mal gusto dejo nuestras prendas personales a exposicion de otras personas en el living de la casa. La dueña tiene mal trato y poca educacion. Buscar una forma de ganarse la vida no necesariamente es dedicarse a un rubro que claramente no tiene...

Cile on the road - Difficile trovare questo ostello di sera, perché non c'è nessuna indicazione. Il posto non è eccezionale e per certi versi veramente improvvisato. Stanze mediocri non proprio pulite, niente stufetta, il bagno in comune da dimenticare, scale strette per salire al piano di sopra. L'unica cosa pregevole è il bel panorama sulla città.
