Where to start? When we turned up, I had to hunt for someone to speak to and see if there was an alternative entrance. The road to the hostel is a building site. Our hire car barely made it down the rubble-strewn road, and the barely distinguishable turning was a gamble every day to see if we could make it up the sandy, rocky, steep 'road'. ||Breakfast is sugary kids cereal, nasty white sliced bread and overly salted eggs. We had to ask for no salt to make them edible. ||The room walls are paper thin. We chose this hostel to be away from the noise of town, and our first night was great. However, as soon as our neighbours arrived, we could barely sleep. They may as well have been sat on my bed brushing their teeth- we heard EVERYTHING. Add in the most noisey pipes I've ever heard and some guests who decided to do laundry in their room at 11pm, and we had pretty much a sleepless night. To top it all.off, said guests then.eoke up at 4.30 (and of course I heard their alarm) and stole our lunch from the shared fridge. ||Trip Advisor is wrong in saying they speak English- our host was very sweet, but spoke no English at all. She therefore was not much help in solving any of our issues.||I'm trying not to let this terrible place tarnish my memories...
Read moreThe hosts are wonderful. very friendly, helpful, and flexible. We even had to change our departure dates a couple of times, which was no problem at all. The hostel itself is super clean, the beds are really comfortable, and there’s the option to have laundry done for a small extra fee. The WiFi works great. I was able to do a two-hour work video call without any issues.
The location is about a 15 / 20 minute walk from the center, which we actually enjoyed, as it made the place feel extra calm and quiet and we were not looking for the buzz of the town.

Read moreStayed 5 nights at this lovely hostal. Clean, well furnished rooms and great outdoor spaces. Elvira and her daughters were very attentive and friendly - anticipating our needs and giving attention to the small things. Kitchen was very handy and well equipped - we cooked there every night. Breakfast was very good.
15 minute walk out of town - we didn’t mind the walk at all and loved the tranquility. No issues with pick up from tour companies...
