We stayed at Hostal Paraiso Tocopilla while visiting Tocopilla. Christian and is wife were absolutely amazing hosts. Super friendly and very helpful. They served us a fabulous breakfast and allowed us to stay a little longer past their normal check out time so we wouldn’t have to wait at the Bus Terminal for five hours as our Bus to Calama didn’t leave Tocopilla until 5:05 PM. Hostal Paraiso Tocopilla is the cleanest hostal we have stayed in. The rooms are very spacious, complete with a little refrigerator, the bathroom and shower was very clean with lots of hot water. Our bed was super comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying at Hostal Paraiso Tocopilla. Thank you Christian for making our visit to Tocopilla memorable. If you are ever in Tocopilla be sure to stay at Hostal Paraiso Tocopilla. A truly beautiful home with really...

One of the few places in northern Chile to have english speaking news stations on the television. Breakfast includes breads and spreads, lunchmeats (ham and cheese), and...

I believe he did that in error because other hotels in Chile never charged me anything like that. The rule, as I understand it, is that if you pay by credit card in USD you are exempt from the tax. I asked for a tax invoice, which the man refused to give, insisting the credit card slip was enough.
The room had no towels, which of course I discovered after having taken a shower late...
