汉庭酒店北京西单店 — Hotel in Beijing

I booked this hotel online at Hanting. At Bejing Capital Airport I took the Beijing Capital Airport Shuttle Bus (Line 2) which cost 16CNY and went all the way to the other end at the final stop (Xidan). The bus was the old type and the journey took an hour. I completed the final leg (very close by) using a car. The hotel is in a quiet old style road, there are some local shops and restaurant. The whole road is not modernised. The reception staff was helpful but no one could speak English. Hanting does not take credit card either so you have to pay by cash. The rooms are set in a square formation with a court yard in the middle which was very good for sunning yourself as there are garden tables and chairs (if you don't mind people looking). The room comfort that I was allocated was reasonable and clean. There was no good view out of the windows. The location was very quiet. Outside of my window I could see an old rusted roof. The bonus was that there were quite a few local restaurants at very reasonable prices within 50m. The local people eat there and there was an absence of tourists except those staying at the hotel , of course. Again no one could speak English and the menu was in Chinese only. There was a very good breakfast place at very cheap prices (part of a chain) just 50 m to the right of the hotel as you walk out of the reception. I ate there every morning. 我办会员卡就在那办得嘛，酒店离西湖步行也就十分钟最多十五分钟到了，他的背后紧挨着一个锦江之星。也不是挨着西湖最近的店，就在文化广场附近。价位也不高，办了会员卡238.房间内看不到湖。周边环境挺好的。旁边有几个饭店，离吃小吃的地方挺多的一个地，离他们不远步行过两个马路就到了，那是个大杂赖就说白了，地摊一个一个的一家一家的全是卖海鲜的。空间够宽敞可以，跟别的地方的汉庭都一样。交通挺好，也在马路边上的。停车场可以能停二十多辆车，是地上的停车场，是一个专门的院子。大厅是靠大...
