CITIC HOTEL, BEIJING AIRPORT — Hotel in Beijing

Ideal cleanness.Staff spoke English.The location is, on one hand, good: it's closer to the airport; on the other hand, it's far from subway stations.My flight was at the early morning, i wasn't sure about which transport to use, so i just went to the airport on foot, about 50 minutes walk.Btw, beware: Google Maps show the location of the hotel wrong!In the room, only one electrical socket worked when the lights were turned off, and it was not very conveniently located. The other socket was convenient, bit didn't work if i turned off the lights.Also, for some reason specifically in that hotel my phone charged so show that it couldn't fully charge over the whole night. Maybe something wrong with the parameters like voltage?..What I really liked is that they had clear information about how to live in the hotel. Like, where to put a towel for it to be replaced, and where to put it to not replace it - things like that were made really clear. Even on the key card, there's an instruction with illustrations on how to use it.I also loved the atmosphere in general - retro, and luxury.View from the window was gorgeous.And the price was very reasonable.Maybe I'll stay there...

The room is ok for now. I’m here at the hotel with my family and kids, service at the swimming pool is very bad the people there have a really bad mood the hole day. In the reception the manager is a really bad behave person he take 40 minutes to check my family passports. There was early a girl who really make easy for us and also a guy in the reception but the rest of the day is really bad bad people in front desk the manager guy is really no good element. The room was clean and the service to the room nice is also friendly. This is a business for people come never mind if their are local or foreigners. This is my third time with my family and is the worst one! The outdoor room is on repair time but outdoor is clean so I think this have a very low rate and bad taste for visitors. No one to complain so the manager is the king...

Very close to the airport - about 45 minutes walk on foot at most. My flights to Europe are usually in early morning, so it saves a lot of trouble to stand the night before leaving China in a hotel near the airport.No problems with cleanliness at all. A bit inconvenient to charge phone at night (only one socket works when the lights off), but can live with it.Lots of text labels hinting on good practices (like where to put a towel to make it replaced, etc.) - that's unique, so helpful!The rooms' interior feels luxurious, in an old-fashioned way. Exactly what I like, and kinda nostalgic: reminds me of my grandpa's cabinet.And both times I've stayed here, I got an amazing view...
