Xiongniu Hot Pot — Restaurant in Beijing

For some reason the server tried to upsell me different sauces and soup bases - soup base was just entirely unseasoned, and might as well have been just hot water. No smoking signs everywhere, yet all of the customers were smoking. VISA and Mastercard signs at the front door but because they "forgot to update" their card reader, they couldn't take our card - they even walked us to the closest ATM and watched us take out cash. It kind of ruined this leg of the trip for me, honestly.
