Stayed for a night on a work trip to Beijing. Emailed ahead to comfirm booking and received a reply within hours. They also responded to my query on how to get there by train very quickly in English. ||||From Beijing airport, purchase a stored value card for concenience. Take the Airport Express to Sanyuanqiao station. The trip cost 25RMB. Then change to Line 10 to Huixinxijienankou station. This is a circular line, take the one that goes anticlockwise. Then change to Line 5 southwards for one station to Hepingxiqiao station. This trip costs 3RMB. The hotel is just across the road from Exit B. ||||Check in was smooth and fast. Read moreI’ve been staying at this hotel nearly 4 or 5 times and I’ll be there again next time I go to the Beijing. Stuff is warm and debonair and try to help you as much as they can. You can find someone who speaks English at the front desk but most of others doesn’t know. Rooms are large enough and they keep the rooms clean and airy. Each time you go to your room it feels like you’re checking in for the first time. I think it’s good thing in a hotel to have. Also has a good location so you can head to metro and other public transportation easily. There are some restaurants around so you may try different type of food.||||I’ve stayed for business purposes. Hotel as a few meeting rooms and the room we’ve used for our meetings was good. It may be a little more cleaner but overall we were pleased to be there. I can recommend this hotel if you’re going to stay in Beijing. But keep in mind that it’s not too close to the Sanlitun and that kind of places. You have to use public transport to go to...
Read moreStayed here for 2 weeks with 4 persons in 3 rooms. Airco in 1 room did not work: room change was made same day, so that's good. Good beds, one of the better beds in Asia we had. Very important! Comfortable, large rooms with good bathrooms. English at the reception is very poor. Emails to hotel are not answered. Breakfast is OK, I like the Asian options and the home made yoghurt is good! Staff at breakfast had no initiative, other than taking some used plates of a table. Just find your own clean chopsticks, knives and spoons... The coffee is terrible, Old fashioned pot of coffee, luke warm. They have a cappuchino machine behind the counter. For a higher price than Starbucks you can get a very mediocre cappuchino... Most 4 star hotels I use in China or Taiwan have this machine available for free use...
