This place is extremely overrated and overpriced. I went there with my wife who is Chinese as she had heard they had the best Peking duck in Beijing. The wait time was insane and frankly if you are not a local who can get someone to wait online for you it is unavoidable. They do provide snacks and drinks while you wait which is nice though. When we finally got seated the service was OK but the food was mediocre at best. Even my wife’s family who we brought some Peking duck home to thought it was not very good and everything else we got was not great. Overall not worth the time and effort to get a table and there are better options...
Read moreThere’s a reason why 四季民福 is often considered a must eat in Beijing. I was blown away by how good the roasted duck what - so crispy, juicy and a burst of flavours! It can be eaten in 3 different ways and I couldn’t decide what I liked the most. Before we know it the 2 of had almost polished off the whole duck. We also had the prawns, which were also very good!

if you're coming with a big group of people, make a reservation first. They don't take reservations for small groups, so always come at least 30 minutes before meal time, there's always a long-wait. You can get a number in the shop.
Food are really tasty, and there's free fruit for each table! While if you don't know what to order, get the menu with pictures. Most servers here don't speak English. The atmosphere inside isn't good, probably because it's really crowd...
