I stayed many IHG hotels in Beijing, but this hotel is 1st time to stay...Worst experiance in the world IHG||||1. Reception in check in: During checking in, stuff don't smile ever once, just like angry, and very cold attitude even she said I am Spire ambassdor member... This is 1st experiance in the world IHG. And she didn't tell any instruction of hotel equipment, room equipment (It will cause big problem for me... the following issues)||||2. Room: Awful old... Reception gave me a room card of 1303, but when I enter 1303 room, there is no any card slot for POWER ON... and no light in the room... very dark... After enter the room, there was still POWER OFF... I spend a lot of time to search how to switch on the room light... finally I found the card slot is located on the entrance of 1305 room!!! 1303 and 1305 is connected, but the room card 1303 has no card slot... I must enter from 1303 entrance with dark condition and found 1305 card slot... Its terrible experiance and 1st time in the world IHG.||||And disappointed thing is that reception lady didnt tell me any info about it. No hospitality...||||3. NO any IHG spire members benefit: When check in, the reception cold lady didnt tell any profit for IHG spire members, she just glant PC monitor and told me I use a point-rewarded room (It let me very disappointed...feel she may said Point-reward customer is not counted as her/this hotel customer). I didnt recieve any reward like welcome drink, welcome fruit, or any letter from manager (Normally many IHG hotels are preparing for me even for reward night)||||4: Exective lounge: even IHG spire members cannot enter to it.... Must pay the exective room fee...||||5: Drink ticket: When check out, I asked reception (Young trainee girl) what is Spire members benefit, she asked me don't you recieve any info when check in? It let me angry.... And she found her colleague had mistake, she suddenly gave me drink ticket that should give when check in ... (This trainee girl should be great service even she still trainee)||||Result: Strongly NOT recommend for IHG members. World worst experiance for...

Read moreI stayed at this hotel for 3 days and overall had a mixed experience. The property itself is very clean and well-maintained. The rooms were beautifully arranged, neat, and comfortable. Room service was also impressive.
However, a few areas need serious improvement. The check-in and check-out process was unusually slow, which felt quite inconvenient after a long journey. The reception staff struggled with English communication, making simple conversations surprisingly difficult.
I had breakfast here for all three days, but the menu lacked variety — it was the same every day. As someone from the South Asian subcontinent, I found very limited options suitable for our taste. Additionally, chicken and beef items were placed very close to each other, sometimes sharing the same utensils, which goes against our religious dietary practices. The snacks and fruit options were also disappointing and did not meet expectations.
The hotel’s internet service was another downside — major apps like Facebook and WhatsApp could not be used, which was frustrating during an international trip.
Overall, except for the food and Wi-Fi issues, the hotel itself is wonderful in terms of cleanliness, room quality, and comfort. With improvements in breakfast variety, staff communication, and internet accessibility, this hotel could be a much better choice for...
