Days Hotel & Suites Changsha City Centre — Hotel in Changsha

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel during our recent trip through China and loved it! We had only planned on passing through Changsha but decided to stay for a couple days because he was feeling a bit ill. This hotel has everything one would need for a comfortable stay and many extras. We had a delux double and were thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the bed, cleanliness, and amenities. I would say that the bathtub was a bit outdate and looked like something from the 90s but everything else was great. You must have breakfast in the hotel as it was absolutely delicious. Having travelled through China for a week, my boyfriend was getting sick of Chinese food and really enjoyed the variety offered here. They have a great mixture of Eastern and Western breakfasts and very very fresh fruit. I couldn't believe this was the complimentary breakfast; it was great quality and probably over 100 different dishes. The concierge was very helpful but he did not speak English so you would only be able to take advantage if you speak Mandarin. We booked our flights to the next city through the hotel, which uses an external travel agent so ask the concierge to bargain with them! I did a few times and got a very good deal on our tickets. The foot massage in the hotel is very professional and quite a bargain at 98 CYN (apprx. 10 GBP) for the quality so I suggest trying it. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is good (although they provide cereal but no bowls... go figure) My only major complaint was the noise from the road, adjacent rooms and miscellaneous electrical sounds.
