Overall 3 stars because rooms are good. The location is not bad. But the service at the bar on the 52nd floor. Forget about it. Never came back to see if I wanted another drink. Every drink I wanted, I had to hail someone down to place an order. I had purchased beef jerkry from a local market today and was eager to enjoy it with my whiskey but the server said I could not eat it since they don't allow food from outside. Hey I understand if they also sold beef jerkey on the menu but no they don't and straight out said no beef jerky for you. I even ordered an appetizer tho I was there really for drinks. 119rmb /$17 Woodruff reserve whiskey at bearly an ounce in my glass. I am just not happy with the service. I dont mind paying $50 a glass of even one sip of whiskey. I have been to hundreds of restaurants and bars where I spend $500 to $2000 with me and my wife and none of them would stop me from brining my own beef jerky. Yes even at all the omekase, Michelin 1,2,3 star restaurants. I still order what I am going to order. A few pieces of beef jerky is not going to bring a place down to its knees especially at plac as that charge a hefty rate. And no I was not happy about the auto 15% gratuity charge on my bill. Poorly trained staff at the lounge. The guy bartender was awesome. The server she was in lala land. 2 tables total in the whole place and never came by to see if we wanted to order anything else.
