Landscape Hotel — Hotel in Dali City

We stayed here as part of the tour group. The hotel is located within the ancient historic quarter of the city. Use all your spare time to see this atmospheric quarter. It has lots of shops, small supermarkets and restaurants.|| This hotel was a house, converted to hotel about 13 years ago. It is full of architectural beauty, sophistication and feels compact as well as well as spacious. There are lots of wonderful paintings on the wall. Each floor of accommodation has seating spaces outside which are very tastefully done as everything else here.|The room for breakfast is also amazing. Take time to look at the paintings on the wall and ceiling. Beakfast had great choices and coffee excellent.||Very comfortable beds, we had good sleep here. There is no safe in the room, not needed. We booked a duplex with one king bed and two singles. What we got was a small loft with a sofa bed as the king bed. That was disappointing. We thought we were getting a real bed. The room had only one seat for four people. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel exterior spaces are lovely. The listing said there was a laundry area but this is false, there is only a laundry service. Despite booking for four people, they only gave us two towels. To get the extra towels, we had to ask twice. The next day, they only gave us three towels. The staff was not very attentive. All I can say is wow, it’s hard to,see how anyone can be disappointed with this hotel. It has a fantastic central location yet the rooms are quiet. I think they are all set round courtyards and you do get quite a bit of echo from other guest but not enough that it was an issue. The beds are so comfortable soft but solid, lovely Egyptian cotton duvet and pillows, great shower no problem with hot water. ||Yes there is a small gap from the knee down where you can see into the shower from the corridor but wasn’t as issue for us. And definitely agree they need a towel rail and hook in the bathroom but that isn’t enough to stop me giving this...
